Destination Maternity

I just went here with my mom to get a dress for my baby shower and I loved this store! They had a huge variety of choices, and the staff there was so nice I loved every one of them. They were so helpful and made shopping when I wasn’t feeling the best about myself a great experience. I will absolutely be back for more!

I bought a few things online that ended up not fitting me very well so I came to this store to exchange them. I’m super indecisive and didn’t really know what I was looking for exactly (first baby, third trimester). The woman working there was super helpful and super patient and I left there feeling good with clothes that fit me just right. She even spelled my name right without me spelling it out which almost nobody does haha. I’m gonna butcher her name now but Thanks for your help and your patience Stephanie!

Wow! I am not normally impressed with a store to have the urge to write a review but wow! This store is amazing. You can find anything you will need during your pregnancy here, no need to go anywhere else. You can find upscale designer brand jeans to cheaper scale pants if you don’t want to spend $ 215 for a jean :) And if you want to, you can still go there :) Sales associates are incredibly friendly and sincere. Lets not forget the free goody-​bag of samples. Very nice touch! Be sure to check this store out, you will be happy to do so:)

Now in my third trimester, This store is often my choice for go-​to maternity clothing needs. The prices are usually reasonable and the staff friendly. Today I went in to return a damaged dress and was greeted by a saleswoman with a major chip on her shoulder. I asked her for store credit, which she gave, but she was so rude I asked her upon leaving if the credit worked at other locations — simply because I do not wish to deal with her again! Too bad, because I’ve spent a great deal of money here!

I’m in the last trimester of my 2^nd pregnancy, so it’s safe to say I’ve put off purchasing maternity clothes for as long as possible. I finally had to break down and buy some clothes for this unusually warm spring we are having, and after discovering that I could no longer squeeze myself into extra-​larges from Forever 21 I decided to pay a visit to Destination Maternity.
This store is wonderful for pregnant moms and very family oriented! They have a play area for small children with a tv, and also a tv for the men with sports to watch while their ladies shop. What I love about this store is that they offer clothes from A Pea in The Pod (more high-​end/​designer type maternity clothing) AND Motherhood Maternity (More budget-​friendly and lots of cute basics). They even had skinny jeans for preggos in all different colors: D Yay!
I was immediately approached by a friendly sales associate (The name on the receipt says Caitlin, so I think she’s the one who helped me) who asked me if I was looking for anything in particular. I told her I was looking for shorts, and she directed me to some selections based on my preferences. She showed me some super cute shorts on the sales rack that I ended up getting. She also showed me a great pair of light-​weight pants that was also on sale… I ended up getting them because they were SO comfy! She also helped me find a good nursing bra (not an easy find when you feel like every bra you put on is trying to suffocate you). She suggested getting a bra extender so I could wear my normal band size instead of buying a huge bra that I would only be wearing for a few more months. It did the trick, and it was only $ 2 extra! I was glad that my hubby was able to sit with out daughter in the play area while I tried things on. I also love that they had a restroom in the store (trust me, if you’re like me you have to pee A LOT when you’re pregnant, lol).
I ended up getting a good nursing bra, a cute pair of shorts, some cozy pants, and a super cute tank top! At the checkout we were given a coupon for $ 25 off our next purchase of $ 100 or more as well as a free goody-​bag of samples for me and our new baby :) I had a very pleasant experience here and will definitely return in the future If I ever need any more maternity clothes!!!
