Sharon T Dunbar, LCSW, specializes in individual, couples, and group therapy as well as individual coaching sessions. Coaching specialties include parenting, stress relief, and communication.

We work with adolescents and adults, providing help with many challenges including depression, anxiety, bi-​polar disorder, grief, stress, self-​esteem, trauma, domestic violence, emotional disturbance, spiritual conflicts, relationship issues, and those who are struggling with aspects of their sexuality.

Business Owner

Born in Long Island, NY I moved to Sarasota Florida at age 7. After being raised in Sarasota I moved to Englewood and have lived here for 31 years. During this time I married, raised my daughter, and received my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (SW6856).

After earning my degree in 2000 from The University of South Florida I continued my education and have several certifications including, Thought Field Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Integration, and Hypnotherapy.

During my career I have had the honor of working with many people in many settings; The Sexual Abuse Treatment Program, a not for profit Counseling Center, a Partial Hospitalization Program for the Dual Diagnosed, a Dialysis Center, Hospice, and Charlotte County Public Schools. It has been my pleasure to have my psychotherapy and coaching business here in Englewood for 13 years.
