History

Established in 1967.

The Chick-​fil-​A story actually begins in 1946, when our founder, S. Truett Cathy, opened his first restaurant. This restaurant was, and still is, located in Hapeville, Georgia and is called the Dwarf Grill. In 1963, Truett made the groud-​breaking discovery, that if you removed the bone from a breast of chicken it would cook much more quickly. This lead to the invention of what is now the beloved, original, Chick-​fil-​A Chicken Sandwich. It wasn’t until 3 years later that Truett opened his first Chick-​fil-​A restaurant in the Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta, Georga. Today, Chick-​fil-​A has over 1500 restaurants in 39 states.

Business Owner

Jeremy Wilson has worked for Chick-​fil-​A for more than 15 years. Even at 15 years old, working as a kitchen team member, it was his ambition to someday open his own restaurant. In April 2009, his dream was finally realized. As a Chick-​fil-​A Operator, Jeremy has had the opportunity to influence hundreds of team members and guests. His heart is for excellence and service. It is his hope that every guest in his restaurant would enjoy a great meal, and be treated like family while dining with us.
