Shoe repair, shoe maintenance, shoe advice, athletic ankle braces… you name it, I’ve been here for all of the above.
Boris has helped me with all of the following:
–buying an ankle brace to wear inside my running shoes (love it!)
–sending me to Home Depot for varnish for my old wedges instead of doing it himself and charging me a fortune
–repairing the heel of my very favorite shoes from the night I gouged a hole in it
–selling me very inexpensive leather cleaners and suede sponges to maintain my very expensive heels and boots for my lifetime (I hope)
His honesty is refreshing — like I said, he’s turned me away with suggestions of how to fix my shoe myself. His advice is spot on — I never knew how to properly care for leather and suede, but I do now.
