Englewood urgent care is delivered by American Family Care, in a state-of-the-art center that is comfortable and inviting. Our waiting area is spacious and relaxing. We have private exam rooms, a small pharmacy, an x-ray room and a lab. AFC Englewood provides treatment for injuries and illnesses — such as colds, flu, allergic reactions, infections, minor burns, women’s health, skin rashes, sprains, minor fractures, cuts, scrapes, bruises, sports injuries and minor surgical procedures.
AFC Englewood provides Occupational Health services for employees and employers. These services include treatment for workplace injuries, DOT certified physicals, both DOT and Non-DOT drug testing, both DOT and Non-DOT Breath and Alcohol testing, as well as travel immunizations, and pre-employment physicals.

History
Established in 2011.
American Family Care Urgent Care (formally known as Doctors Express Urgent Care) was founded in 2005 and is the first nationally franchised urgent care model. With a mission to change the way urgent care and occupational health services are delivered in the U.S., it provides high-quality, compassionate medical services in more than 50 centers across the country.
Our location at 901 W. Hampden Ave Suite 103 in Englewood, CO was established in August 2011 and we opened our doors to serve the Englewood, CO community’s medical needs on March 2, 2012.
Meet the Business Owner
Dr. Irit G.
Business Owner
Irit Gordon, M.D., has more than 30 years of emergency medicine experience. After attending the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she completed her residency in Boston Hospital’s Department of Internal Medicine. She has been licensed in Colorado since 1984.
Dr. Gordon had worked as an emergency staff physician at seven hospitals across the state. Dr. Gordon is also a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a member of the Colorado Medical Society.
Dr. Gordon resides in Denver, CO with her husband and three kids. She enjoys spending time with her free time in the mountains and spending time with her family.
