A to Z Roofing does carry workman’s compensation and general liability for your protection. We are also licensed in most jurisdictions: from Southern Colorado throughout the entire Front Range. We guarantee that all permits and inspections will be carried out and completed for your project.

Don wouldn’t even discuss my roofing before determining how big my insurance check had been. I told him I’m open to spending whatever is needed, even $ 100,000 if need be. He Stormed out saying:
If you want to do the old «hide the insurance paperwork» then call somebody else.
…I already had, and have received 3 other estimates prior to this experience without divulging my private insurance relationship.

We contacted these guys after the first roofer we contacted totally flaked on us. Brett Gerhardt was wonderful to work with — very communicative, gave us a schedule and stuck to it. The workers showed up early and finished up in less than a day! They did a great job with clean-​up, too — virtually left no trace. They also seemed to pay special attention to our trouble areas — like where the roof meets the old chimneys. I really appreciated their attention to detail. I also appreciated the workers who were very considerate. All in all a very positive experience and I would highly recommend them!

From quote to completion A to Z Roofing is top notch. My duplex mate and I are both so happy with our new roof… our only regrets are that we wish we’d done it years ago and avoided the multiple ceiling repairs.
Their crew was fabulous, they worked their butts off-​they were here at 8:00 (except the day it rained) and here until 7:00 every night working like «wild men.» Clearly they take pride in their work and they worked well as a team, each fella’ seemed to know his job.
They did a great job cleaning up at the end, too. What a difference the gutters make too… the gutter crew was very prompt, efficient and also took pride in their work.

The Apartment complex (Autumn Chase Highlands Ranch) that I live in hired this company to replace all the roofs. It’s taken over two summers for them to complete it. And when they finally got around to my building, they left a filer on our doors the morning of stating that they started ripping off the roof, no previous warning before that. Plus they start working right at 7am. Construction hours start at 9am, especially when working in a neighborhood or apartment complex where people are still sleeping! They also caution taped our whole building and parking spots saying not to go outside because it’s not safe. A building with 12 apartments in it and none of us could come or go from our homes until they were done. Are you kidding me? Instead of having just one designated area where to throw off the tiles, they just chucked them all around the building. I’m still finding nails and wood around our property. No wonder it wasn’t «safe». Totally annoying and unprofessional. Then they were back at 7am the next morning. They started at 7am because they didn’t want to deal with the hot sun but if your only work during the summer, then shouldn’t you expect to be working in the hot sun? Besides that, what didn’t make sense was that they worked out there till 9pm! 14 hour day… so they were in the sun no matter what and they were as loud as could be. But last time I checked, 14 hour days are not legal… especially in outside construction with heat and power tools working in the dark… So I’m thinking that this company is hiring illegal immigrants who don’t know any better because none of the workers spoke english either. They got the job done so that was the only good part… I would NEVER recommend this roofing company to anyone. If anything, I’m reporting them.

Absolutely avoid this company. While their workmanship may or may not be at least standard, there are too many other roofing companies out there that conduct business ethically, so no need to go with A to Z roofing.
Part of the fault is mine. On the back of A to Z Roofing’s «estimate» of repair, it says in very fine print that the «estimate» becomes a legal contract in 72 hours. Cheap shot. If you sign the «estimate» and don’t cancel within that 72 hour period, THEY decide what shingles to put on — — according to the «estimate» — and when it fits their schedule to do the job. My teenage daughter was home from school and I was out of town when they showed up at my home in Parker unannounced. She called me, understandably alarmed by some men on and around the house unexpectedly. I immediately called the «estimator» and asked what was going on. He said, «Hey, you signed a contract!» I told him that he was one of three contractors I was looking at and that I had not yet hired any. He told me that he «didn’t want to pressure me» and gave me the number to the main office. It cost me $ 375 to buy out of the «estimate». Meanwhile, they left the shingles on my roof in bundles for two weeks. When I sent a text to the «estimator» asking when the shingles would be removed, he replied, «It’s on the schedule» Real class act.

They did a $ 1000 job for me in about 2002 to fix a leak in the roof. The leak was back about 2 years later. In fairness I did not contact them to see if they would come back to fix it again for free, but I was disappointed it came back in the first place.
