Sergio and Chris are very knowledgeable, and I was happy with the work performed for both a tire balancing and mount and an oil change. Sergio is BMW certified, among other certifications displayed in their office. Scheduling appointments was hassle free, and Chris was able to get me a set of new tires at a nice price.
I was about ready to give them a 5 star rating based on their quality work and fair prices, but unfortunately have to dock off 2 stars for several displays of a lack of professionalism. A few times, when I asked Chris questions related to the service performed or the condition of my car, to my surprise, he would have a tendency to get defensive and react negatively instead of answering my questions in a calm, professional manner. The last time, he went so far as to roll his eyes at me.
If it weren’t for the distinct impression that I get that I shouldn’t ask questions for fear of offending, I would have continued to use them as my go-​to mechanics in the area.

Needed to find a mechanic in the area and these are the guys! I was able to drop my car off the night before, and Chris called me promptly the next morning and very thoroughly explained to me what was wrong with the car; what my options were to have it fixed; and the cost for each option (fair prices). Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience here — I will be back!

These guys are good. I’ve brought my car in a few times for minor things: oil change, flat tire, alignment, the basic stuff like that. Every time, I’ve felt like they did a good job, and were honest in their assessment of my car and any additional work they suggested. I’ve recommended them to friends, and will definitely bring my car back here. The shop is still pretty new, but that also means that they’ve got new equipment.

Good shops are hard to come by — fortunately I came across Englewood Cliffs Tire & Auto. Sergio and Chris were able to quickly diagnose some issues I have was having with my car, explain the scope of work needed with a very reasonable quote. They accommodated my schedule and were able to show me the parts they needed to replace. They have a clean shop, do quality work and have great customer service. Glad I found a reliable independent garage in the area.

I was glad to use Chris and Serges mechanic shop today. I went in for mounting and balancing 4 brand new tires (1997 Toyota Camry — Tires Altimax 91T). Chris was very helpful with the billing and went over each item and even showed me what he was talking about exactly even if I had the smallest question or doubt. The pricing was very reasonable and they didn’t charge anything extra or will force you to buy anything you don’t need. The last mechanic I went to couldn’t wait to add unwanted junk to my car and I was honestly loosing my faith in Automechanics around the area.
Serge was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. I wish I had more time because not only is he a BMW certified mechanic, he’s also willing to share his knowledge and know how with you. In short you will feel smart once you talk with him. I will definitely use them again.
p.s: Chris pointed out that they had more reviews than what Unilocal allowed to put on here for some reason. He said he was supposed to have 8, but Unilocal only published 5 for some reason. I hope Unilocal rectifies this asap because we need more people like this who do honest work around the area. I thought this was the whole purpose of «Yelp».

Had my wife’s BMW serviced there last minute and was pleasantly surprised to learn the tech is BMW certified. Bye bye dealer! Honest guys, great service. The tech noticed a nail in the tire while the car was on the lift and took care of it for me. Highly recommended!

I am terrible at taking care of my car and truly rely on industry professionals to help me maintain my vehicle. When I recently got a nail in one of the run flat tires on my 2014 3 Series BMW, I knew exactly who to call: Englewood Cliffs Tire & Auto Repair.
Chris and his team went above and beyond, ordering and replacing my tire all in the same day (and for a significantly LOWER price than taking it to the BMW dealership, while of course maintaining superior quality of work). They were also super accommodating, working around my busy schedule for drop off and pick up.
Never before have I experienced such professionalism and efficiency. I will absolutely recommend Englewood Cliffs Tire & Auto to everyone I know!

Kind, patient, and overly knowledgeable of anything on wheels! Serge is always willing to explain everything in detail with great prices and the service is second to none. Chris always makes sure everything else goes off without a hitch. All in all an amazing and more importantly HONEST shop. You can’t ask for anything better with great people, great service, and easy access to numerous highways so very easy to get to.
I will never bring my vehicles anywhere else and I would never hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone. I always feel like family when I walk in the shop and you just can’t ask for anything better!

Chris and Surge are great guys. They are very helpful and have great customer service. Ive been getting my car serviced by them lately and always leave happy. They are priced well and do a great job. They even helped me figure out what was wrong with my battery. Surge is very through and helpful. Usually when i leave mechanics they don’t do as much and just want you in and out. These guys like to interact with their customer and that alone shows you they care about their custoners. These guys are great, I wouldnt hesitate to use these guys ever.

The most honest and skilled mechanic I know around. A bmw and honda expert, this guy knows his stuff. They diagnosed my car and explained what was wrong and needed every step of the way. They are the only shop I trust and bring my cars to. They are also very fair with their pricing and beat the other shops around. Never have I left feeling taken advantage of like other shops. Honest man who knows his stuff. He explained everything that was wrong and answered all my questions about my car. You leave feeling confident that your car is in excellent hands. All work done was completed as discussed and I have not had any problems come back. The price was well within reason and a bit cheaper than quotes I had received from other shops. I was expecting to pay quite a bit more. I fully recommend them and won’t hesitate to go back if any other repairs are needed in the future. A+
