The reviews I read were definitely accurate. The front desk didn’t even realize I was there until I said something. The woman who did my nails didn’t even talk to me 98% of the time because she was on her bluetooth talking to someone in Chinese. I didn’t even want to tip her but I still did. My nails came out good tho and so far nothing has gone wrong. I’m a person who has to give customer service all day long and when someone doesn’t treat me the same way it’s upsetting.

Nice place. Got me in at the end of the day and seemed to stay open late for others to complete the job. A little annoying waiting for tips. Great massage by older gent at the end. Great color assortments.

I always request Kim for my regular manicures and deluxe pedicure. She is the best takes her time during the massage and makes me feel like a queen. All the extra services in the deluxe pedi makes it way worth while instead of the regular pedi. Only con is a wish they had a bigger selection of OPI nail colors

Had an awesome manicure by a man named Gordon. He made my gel overlay look flawless. It looks so natural. I have had a few bad experiences at this salon in the past, but I think key to this salon is going to the right person. Will be visiting him again :)

I am so incredibly upset with this place… I went in for a CLEANUP on my eyebrows and I specifically told the man that I just wanted a clean up. He changed the shape of my eyebrows and made them thinner. Not only that… but he messed up my left eyebrow making it SHORTER than the right eyebrow. I was so aggravated I paid and left I didn’t even complain because honestly there was nothing they could’ve done to fix it. I will never go back to that place and I’ll tell whoever I know not to go. They didn’t listen to a word I said which I think was pretty damn simple. OH and they also left hairs all over my face and didn’t even tweeze all the left over hair the wax didn’t get under or above my eyebrow. I was also left with thick long hairs in my unibrow.

My favorite place to go for a pedicure. It’s worth it in my opinion since I don’t live in the area. It’s relaxing and you get a good massage(not a half-a**ed one). I deducted a star only because my sisters and I had made a reservation once, and we did not sit until a half hour later because they were so busy.

My FAVORITE place to get a pedicure! They do thorough job and are happy to help you relax. I love the spa pedicure with the green stuff they slather on your legs and wrap in plastic. When they take it off your legs are tingly and feel fabulous! They then massage your calves — and it’s a GOOD massage, not cheesy. Lots of chairs(awesome massage chairs) and I rarely have to wait Longer Than a couple low minutes as a walk in. Can’t wait for my next pedi!

I went here for a pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure was pretty good, although they kept pushing me to upgrade from the basic pedicure that I asked for. The manicure was not relaxing. She cut several of my cuticles way too short, causing them to bleed. She was looking away while filing my nails causing some of them to be crooked. The nail polish on my fingers is bumpy and uneven. This is a good place if you are in a pinch but I wouldn’t make this my regular nail salon.

I’ve been going here for years for my mani and pedi and for the most part I’ve always had a good experience. The last few times when I wax my eye brows I got burn really bad I think it was skin and not the technicians fault

I used to absolutely love this place… five stars all the way, I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. But for the past year or so, I’ve been really disappointed. It seemed like one day I went in and ALL the«regular» staff members were gone, replaced with a bunch of new recruits who were still learning how to do nails. This Sunday, I got a poorly done pedicure, a poorly done manicure, and a wax so bad it was laughable.(«I can’t see the hair,» the woman told me. UM, seriously? It’s there, and it’s dark. Do you need glasses? Better light? Maybe you should get someone else to do it? It’s only Monday and I already need another wax.) I’ve been a devoted customer of this location for probably 15 years now, long before it was called Tranquility… but I don’t plan on coming back after this. The only good thing i have to say at this point is that they seem to be offering customers bottled water now, which is nice.

I’ve been here twice for pedicures. Going back next week for same as well as manicure and bringing 2 friends. They do a good job, are priced right, are clean, and the employees are very friendly and courteous.

I came in to get a manicure and the woman did a really beautiful job. However, at one point she was definitely calling people over to look at my hands and talk about me in another language. Then she laughed and goes«you have really dry hands»! It was kind of weird.

Don’t really understand all the hype about this place… I just don’t get it! if there was ever a nail salon factory, this will surely be one. In other words, this is a heads down approach… everyone is so in tune with their Iphones and Cellular devices where they forget to talk to the customers… perhaps it was just pure luck that I got a very lazy individual! who loves to talk on the phone. First impression = lasting impression. I do apologize, in advance, for this bad review but I wanted to share my experience. Save your money and time! As soon as I entered this fine establishment(located in a Mall), i was approached by an introverted hostess who did not say hi nor acknowledge the customer(that will be me). Instead, proceeded to text a very important message on her iPhone! Priorities were aligned elsewhere… Was waved down only to be escorted to technician who was glued to her phone. My services included a gel french manicure. Estimated completion time = 45 minutes. For 45 minutes, this woman spoke on her phone in a foreign accent. Granted she did a good job, but if i was a manager at this place — customer service is key. Keep personal phone calls to a minimal. At my job and i think several workforces alike, personal phone calls are made during lunch or breaks… Next was the pedicure… it was timed(by a timer). Which is cool, i got the full 25 minutes of a long massage. Nonetheless, she too did a good job, french pedicure but was so in tune with her music/IPhone. Next waited for my nails too dry. Got a massage! He is the only one who provided exceptional service who actually said spoke and smile! Wow… that’s all it took was a hi and thank you! Total Price Tag = $ 97 which includes the below services: ~ French Gel Manicure ~ French Pedicure ~ ANDYES… a tip…(as much as I didn’t want to give a tip… it was the RIGHT thing to do) Unilocal should really allow us to give ZERO star. Overal, the experience was WEIRD and awkward!

I came to tranquility for a pedicure and gel manicure. They were having a special, I think it was $ 8 off all nail servies. I can honestly say I had a great experience. I was a walk in an waited less than 5 minutes. The place is very large and has a great ambiance. They have two, very large plasma TVs that play movies. They have tons of pedicure chair and all were very clean. My gel manicure was fast and very well done. It has lasted well over 2 weeks and has not let up at all. Overall, it was a good experience and I’m very happy with my manicure and pedicure, especially for the great price.

I’ve gone to this place at least 4 times now, always for an eyebrow wax. The price is right($ 8), so it’s been convenient for me to stop in for a wax when I go back to CT to visit my family. The first few times I had a good experience here, the place is clean, and I never have to wait more than a couple of minutes, and am in and out in less than 10 minutes total. But after this last visit, I don’t think I’ll be going back. It wasn’t until I left and looked in the mirror that I realized my eye brows were COMPLETELY lopsided… the guy actually removed nearly half of one of my eye brows, and I look ridiculous. There is nothing I can do except wait for it to grow back. I’m not a happy camper.
