We are a non-profit organization called ‘Allied Rehabilitation Centers”, a day program for adults with intellectual disabilities located in Enfield CT. Our consumers own a thrift store called Allied’s Attic on 294 George Washington Road in Enfield. There they are given an opportunity to work in the thrift store as sales associates as well as in the donation center also located at 294 George Washington Road collecting and processing donations. Allied’s Attic is a great place where you can get name brand gently used clothing, furniture, housewares and so much more all at bargain prices. History
Established in 2007.
Allied’s Attics doors opened on August 20th 2007. The purpose of the store was to give those with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to learn new skills and use them in the competitive workforce. The store and donation center also give our employees the ability to interact closely with community members and a platform that allows us to educate others and redefine the abilities of those with intellectual disabilities.

Hi! My name is Marisol S and I am the manager of Allied’s Attic. I have worked there since they opened there doors in 2007. I have the honor of working along side some of the most hardworking, good spirited people. We all pride ourselves on teamwork and because of that the business runs nicely and our customers leave very satisfied with there experience.
