Ample portions at reasonable prices(pasta is an additional $ 3 with entrees) and half portions of pasta are available. The ranch dressing is excellent and was the high point of my meal. The red sauce is extremely salty and by the time I had finished half of my meal, my tastebuds had gone numb. The restaurant is cozy and warm – probably due to the fact that the restaurant is always crowded and tables are closely packed. We had to ask for knives and spoons and were told that they had run out(there were full sets of silver on the empty table next to us).(We did get them in short order, but only after we had buttered our bread with forks and finished half of our salads.)

We went here because everyone raves about their pizza and it was ok? The sauce is watery and doesn’t have much flavor, the crust is just meh. The only thing that is perhaps a cut above most other Italian joints in the area is the cheese — it is fairly high quality. And the restaurant is frankly a bit scary. Its cramped(we were at a table that was so small they had to put out serving plates *under* the pizza tray, which made for a very uh, exciting meal) and its best not to look to hard at details, such as the ceiling or the floor. Or even to think of it, some of the dishes.

I absolutely adore their red garlic pizza! Whenever I order pizza, they are the only place I call. The service is always quick and very pleasant whenever I eat in, and the food is always up to expectation. Definitely recommend!

I am an Endicott native and have been going to Nicks for pizza for years. The pizza is good. Take out is quick. However dining inside of Nicks is a different experience. The restaurant is dated and colored in beige. Its very very tacky. Many tacky murals and cheap dining furniture and not in an ironic, divey way. I ordered gnocchi with the red sauce, and it was just okay. Bland and extra cheesy. Nothing special. I also had a house salad which was not fresh, lettuce wilted and veggies soft. The desert is not homemade, definitely from Maines or Costco. The waitresses always seem busy and efficient however the last time I stopped in at Nicks, what I presume is the owner, scolded and yelled at a few of the waitresses at the waitress booth that was directly next to my table. It was very unprofessional. I saw one of the waitresses red eyed after the confrontation. VERY Uncomfortable to be around. I would NOT recommend Nicks. Go to Consol’s or Antonios on Oak Hill.

Nick’s is my all time favorite for pizza. I have lived in Chicago and still nothing comes close. The pizza here is true New York style, AMAZING pizza. Their Italian salad dressing is also to die for. Service is good and ambiance is nice. Prices are very fair. Be ready to wait during rush hour because everyone in town knows how great this place is!

My girlfriend and I went here last night and I was pleasantly surprised. She had been talking about Nick’s for a while however I usually try to avoid heavy Italian restaurants because it is difficult to find a solid dish that doesn’t have dairy. Yesterday I had the Gluten Free Chicken Cutlets with a side of Gluten Free Pasta with Red Sauce. The chicken was seared perfectly and had a wonderful flavor with a hint of lemon added. The pasta was great, it is rare to find a well cooked gluten free pasta when dining out. She had the Gnocchi dish that came with Meatballs and sauce. She said it was fresh and it looked like a large portion size. Overall the food was great. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was good, and it was priced fair. We will be returning on a regular basis!

Consistently delicious local Italian food. The sauce is delicious, the pizza is a nice flat-crust with good seasoning, though I come here for the italian dressing on my salad and for chicken parm, gnocchi. Good for take-out too. Sausage with peppers is pretty good too. It can get really crowded on prime times(weekend nights) so be prepared to wait a little while. there is a bench outside but most of the line is usually in the entranceway. It’s full of locals who keep coming back– a good sign of course :). Great for family meals!

The pizza is pretty good. I ordered extra cheese on two occasions. One time you couldn’t tell there was extra cheese and the other time there was a nice thick layer of cheese. I hate to sound like everyone else comparing it to Tonys, but it is somewhat similar. I’d say Tonys quality is a little better but Nicks is cheaper! Overall, id order from here again.

Every time I eat there I enjoy the experience and the meal although I have to admit my wife and I are stuck in a bit of a rut. I either get pizza, linguini with clam sauce or garlic steak sub. I’ve never had anything bad there ever and have eaten there frequently. It is always a go to place on my side of town when we need a quick bite with reasonable prices. I always recommend it to others when asked for a good place to eat.

Good thin sliced pizza. Their ranch salad dressing is really good. I am not a fan of ranch dressing but my friend told me to try it. And it is really good. Ordered the meat lovers and plain pizza and both were good. If you like thin sliced, you would love their place.

There are ups and downs to this place. There is plenty of seating and the service is friendly. The Italian dressing is one of the best I’ve ever had. The pasta was made fresh and not sitting around sweating. The rolls were not stale and very tasty. The regular tomato sauce was just alright and I only had this because they didn’t have vodka sauce. If you have a base sauce, onions, cream and vodka, the sauce can be made, so when they said they didn’t have it, that was alarming — your’re an Italian restaurant, make it! The seats can be a bit more comfortable, especially if you are staying for a full course. Prices were reasonable. Overall, it’s an alright place for an upstate Italian restaurant.

I think the pizza at Nick’s is phenomenal and the chicken parm is delicious as well. I haven’t had all of the sandwiches, but the sausage is decent. The salads are a little on the small side and the pasta is never quite firm enough, but all in all, it’s a good place. Small menu, but pretty much everything is good, so it evens out. Reasonably fast service and a clean interior.

The food is great; i think it’s one of the better pizzas in Endicott, and the turnaround time(crucial for those of us who take food to-go with kids at home) is reasonable and always accurate when they quote it to you. All that said, there are a couple of major drawbacks to this fine eatery. The décor does nothing for me, which is fine since I’ve only ever eaten there once, opting usually for take-out. The bigger issue seems to be that the«minor» menu items like appetizers are on some kind of crazy rotating schedule I can’t understand. I got fantastic mozzarella sticks here once, and have never been able to catch them on a day that the fryer wasn’t broken or they weren’t out of stock again. My wife had a similar complaint about something else(I thought maybe chicken wings, but apparently they just don’t serve those at all), but we cannot remember what. The service is utilitarian, and that’s about it. I’ve never had more than four seconds of eye contact from anybody at Nick’s.

I have to agree with Michele. One topping pizza that’s mostly dough and sparsely topped at that(cost ~$ 3.00) for ~$ 12.00. A half order of spaghetti with marinara for $ 6.05(cost ~$ 1.00). The aforementioned iceberg salad — small portion at that. And others… Overpriced, under-quality, under-value. I have to applaud Nick for building such a reputation and creating what is sure to be quite the cash cow. I’m told he also closes to go on a 2-week vacation. What I don’t understand is why the place was packed on Friday night. Well, it must be good business if you can get it(and keep it). We’ll continue our search for the ultimate NY pizza. Loss of one additional star for very poor service(it was a busy night, but even still we were largely ignored).

In the couple of years I’ve been reading Unilocal reviews and in the year or so since I’ve been posting reviews myself, I’ve noted that we who are locals sometimes have a different opinion of restaurants than we who are visitors. So it goes here. Friendly service, nice little interior, a parking lot in back are all good things. But the pizza was mediocre, the chicken parm was so salty as to be literally inedible(by a nineteen year old who will eat almost anything that doesn’t run away from him), the pasta sauce seemed of «in the jar» quality and for that reason the manicotti was just OK too. Also the salads were the chopped iceberg mix. So for us the food quality is what sunk Nick’s from a three star to a two star review. Maybe our expectatons were too high based on the other Unilocal reviews. Context is important to share, I think, and so I’ll share that my hubby is Italian in heritage and grew up eating great Italian food in Brooklyn and has good radar for Italian food as a result. So while we won’t argue with the perspective of the local folks who review Nick’s food as the best in the area, from our view it was not great and for purposes of other Unilocalers who may be visitors to Endicott, we offer our perspective.

I was recommended to this restaurant by a Friend who constantly comes there. When you first walk in, it feels as though you are in another Italian-American franchise restaurant. However, the food is definitely worth all the hype. The pizza’s are the best, however I have tried some of the other dishes and they are also very delicious. The service is very good, as they come to ask you only when you seem to need something, which is great — No waiting around. The atmosphere is really pleasant and calm. Not to bright that you have to wear shades, and not to dim that you need a flashlight to read the menu. Overall, a good place to try out with your friends or family.

The service is great, the food is outstanding, and the prices are perfect. Nick’s has, by far, the best pizza in the entire binghamton area. While some compare it to Tony’s pizza, it is far from it. Nick’s also has fresh salad’s with a wonderful homemade ranch dressing that shouldn’t be missed. If you are out for more of an authentic italian night out, then the dinners are delicious as well. Lasagna, ravioli, pasta sauce, etc… everything is delicious and made fresh in house. Highly recommend for any italian food lover.

Nick’s pizza is very good, rumored to be the brother of Tony(who owns the wonderful restaurant Tony’s Pizzeria on main st in Endwell) and the pizza is very similar if not identical, I haven’t tried both simultaneously but they seem very alike. The rest of the menu seems a bit disappointing to me for dinner, I have only tried the sausage parm and the chicken parm, both of which were alright, but doesn’t stand out at all compared to the oak’s inn, tony’s, joey’s, consol’s or the other various heavy hitter italian restaurants in the area. There isn’t much to it — anything you could want«parm» — sausage parm, chicken parm, some fish parm, etc. with spaghetti or rigatoni. For a lunch-ish meal there are more options like different subs, individual slices of pizza, salads, but if you’re looking for a hearty italian meal the choices are mostly parm. Service — The waitresses aren’t very reliable, on the multiple occasions I have gone there for a sit down meal we seemed to be forgotten either once we were seated or once our drinks were served. All the staff seems to be young and female in the way of wait staff and they seem easily distracted by gossiping and friends, we have more than once had to call them over to our table to place our order. The pizza makers/cashiers on the other hand are very accurate with their wait time: 15 – 20 minutes to pickup a pizza, and are always friendly and quick to take care of the bill paying. The chicken in my chicken parm was very overrated; dry, a bit fatty, and not particularly tasty. The sauce was okay but not spectacular. The salad that comes with the dinners is fresh and crisp, and the rolls come to the table hot and are very good. From now on I think I’ll stick to the pizza unless i’m in the mood for a sub or a salad. — — — — - Tony’s restaurant in Endwell, and Mama Giuseppa’s, Consol’s and Joey’s in Endicott are all more meal oriented and have more choices to offer.
