If you don’t mind some major attitude for some good food, this is the place for you. The service is pretty awful, my husband basically had to beg them for mustard once. But I got the bbq beef sandwich and it was pretty delish. Order for pickup just to be safe.

Wow, amazing. Every time I come here its great. I really appreciate the consistency. Good variety on the menu and all the different things I’ve had from here always leave me satisfied. The Schnitzel is amazing, I really like the kebab, and today I had the shawarma, very delicious! The people who work there are friendly and the food is to die for, all and all a great place to stop for lunch.

I came here with an empty stomach and I left here with a full bully. Their steak sandwich is amazing!!! Their system is a little bit different, I must admit; you border your food, you sit down, you eat it, and then you pay at the end. Best lunch I’ve had in awhile!

Customer service– Rude Food– Not good Ambiance– Dirty floors, counter, and walls I just felt gross in here and talk about treating the customer like crap… they were rude, starred at my tattoos like I was a criminal. I guess if you’re not religious as they are you won’t get good service or treatment. The sandwiches are $$$ for what they are and tasted cheap DONOTGOHERE! We need to support local businesses here in the valley, which I do… but not this one.

It’s absolutely BEYOND me how this place has over 2 stars. Their schnitzel sandwich was absolutely disgusting!!! My mom makes better schnitzel!!! Granted my mom makes amazing schniztel but you’d expect a place that has 4.5 stars to have good schnitzel. I’m seriously mad right now, my mom picked it up as food for to go and its seriously disgusting. Like she picked it up 15 minutes ago so it’s not like it got soggy because we waited too long. It does not even taste fried!!! If you guys want ONEHUNDRED times better schnitzel go to SCHNITZLY in PICO… honestly their stuff is AMAZZZZINGGGG compared to this. try their buffalo schnitzel. SOCRISPYANDYUMMY. I definitely do not recommend this place. ew.

I love this place! So far I’ve had the pesto chicken sandwich and the chicken stir fry sandwich. They were both delicious! They serve tasty dishes on the softest, lightest, and fluffiest gourmet bread that I’ve ever had at any other sandwich shop. I recommend eating it fresh or else your sandwich might get a little soggy, but I’d you’re a flavor saver and you like that, you’re in for a treat! ;) Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Ok, so it’s not L’As du Falafel, but it’s the best falafel I’ve found in LA, and I’ve had a lot of falafel in LA. It’s actually not even on the menu, so you get the added coolness of ordering a hidden item. Plus, a full baguette’s like $ 6.50. Go.

Pro’: Great food. One of the best shawarma laffa’s I’ve ever had. I recommend it with grilled onions. I also really like their mergez sausage. The guys behind the counter are very friendly and have good recommendations. Cons: It’s a little pricey for a quick bite.

Im not sure if i understand the name? i am thinking sandwiches like shawarma and felafel. instead it was Chinese stir fry in 3 different breads. 2 sandwiches cost $ 30? I guess Kosher is more expensive. Things i did not like. Very very dirty. Floor was just not acceptable. The soda machine wall was disgusting. The tables your arms would stick on it. The only reason i gave it 3 stars the Shawarma was good. made with Turkey and Lamb. lots of cumin and turmeric. good seasoned. I probably will not go back. Just cause of the dirty factor. Im surprised of the A rating. In my book They would be shut down.

The food was fresh and flavorful, although the chicken/veggie dish I ordered was spicier than expected for requesting«mild.» The atmosphere and service didn’t feel terribly welcoming to me… I’ve decided I will order out from this place from now on.

Wow this place has really good sandwiches! At first I was a little iffy about coming in and even looking at the menu it seemed a little weird. But once the food came out, it was all good! Had lunch with 2 of my girlfriends and everyone’s food was delicious! The owner was a cool guy too. Will definitely be coming back!

Great Kosher spot in the valley. The sandwich selection is awesome. Service is ok, but that’s what you get in these kind of places. The shwarma sandwich was spicy and delicious.

The food was bland and I got 3 sandwiches(honey glazed turkey, smoked turkey, and salami) and two panini’s(honey glazed turkey, roast beef) they were exactly the same. Lol they had just made the panini a little more crispy, the bread was the same and not a lot of ingredients inside. I wish them the best of luck but they need to work on their food a bit.

This is one of those sandwich bars I drive by EVERYDAY of my life, but never gave a chance to. Yesterday, one of my friends was visiting me from out of town, and it was a perfect opportunity to grab a quick lunch(being so close). When I walked in I noticed two things … 1. They did InvadeLA. 2. The Israeli television was a bit too loud. I quickly used my iphone to check their InvadeLA deal, then proceeded. When we took a look at the menu, both of us were torn between whether to order the pastrami roast beef, or the schnitzel sandwich. I ordered the Schnitzel sandwich, he ordered the roast beef … we shared an order of fries. When the food arrived, we noticed that it was such a generous portion, that we could trade half with each other(that way getting enjoy both). I couldn’t decide which one was better, but if I had to I would say the pastrami … just because I like red meat. The fries are BOMB, totally reminded me of fries I had in Israel, maybe it was the Israeli television in the background. All in all, I ended up using my InvadeLA card for the first time … and loved it. I’m totally a fan of this place now.

Nice little place on ventura, stumbled across here and said why not. They have a great menu of different sandwiches I’ve never heard off. I got a snitzel sandwich, what i found nice was the waitress asked me exactly what i wanted in it. I got to load it up with a bunch of salads and dressing. It was really good. Ive been here once after and got a shwarma, my new favorite. It was amazing! Really juicy and tender, the baguettes they use are fresh and i think are baked in house. The hummus was also really great. Great place to try if your in the area and in need of lunch.

MMM One thing I love about LA that SF doesnt have… All the awesome middle eastern restaurants. When it comes to food, SF definitely has LA beat, except for middle eastern restaurants. I come to sandwich bar for their schnitzle sandwich. Absolutely delicious. I’ve learned my way around the middle eastern spices and sandwich bar has great humus, tahini and amba to compliment their schinitzle sandwich. The owner is almost always there greeting you and asking if everything is ok. I love it when owners actually have something to do with their restaurant and actually interact with the customers, very good touch. The cabbage that comes with the schnitzle sandwich is pretty gross. I dont mind cabbage at all, but for some reason theirs is uneatable. Other than that minor hick-up, it really is a cute restaurant.

She wanted pizza and I wanted sushi, so my friend and I compromised. Sandwiches. Makes sense, right? I know. Well, as we all know the word compromise means to beat each other down until no one gets what they want, or you know in other words, to settle by concession. This usually means the end result is not entirely pleasing to both individuals, and in this case… it’s still true. Instead of driving up and down Ventura Blvd all day looking for a restaurant(this can easily happen to two indecisive girls) we stopped at the first decent looking place we saw just to look at the menu. There are a lot of options, and we weren’t sure exactly what we were in the mood for. Cue pushy counter guy. I kind of liked this guy, while at the same time wanting to fight with him. I can’t explain it. He was sort of friendly, sort of not. When my friend made the mistake of asking for cheese on her tuna sandwich she was met with a surprising amount of abrasiveness. Okay, I get it. The place is Kosher and he’s offended by cheese. Well, I love cheese and I’m offended by Kosher. However, we made amends and had a delightful exchange of banter. Nothing on the menu was jumping out at me, but then I spied a sign on the window that said they were now serving falafel. It comes in pita with all the regular falafel fixings, and it was pretty good. This pita was definitely not lacking in those moist, delightful balls of fried chickpeas. I was enjoying it(except perhaps a small piece of stale pita :(), and then. And then, a server put a condiment bottle on our table with 1000 Island dressing on it. What? What’s that for? Okay, I’ll give it a go. So good! I’ve eaten plenty of falafel in my day, how have I been blind to the 1000 Island option? Oddly enough I don’t like that dressing at all on salads or burgers, but man did it work with that falafel. My friend said her tuna sandwich was okay, and she gave it 3 stars. Good enough, but not for the price. Her sandwich and fries were in the ballpark of $ 15. My pita and iced tea was around $ 7. I think I won this compromise(wait, you don’t win in compromises?).

Its a cute glatt kosher place off of ventura, its nice to have a glatt koseher place right in the neighborhood. Also the owner is very nice and givees the best service. On to the food: This place has the best shakshuka ever!!! Oh my gosh its so delicious. The falafel pita is also delish and so are some of the sandwiches. You can’t go wrong with this place, they have a great selection on their menu and the service excellent.
