Philip Farzad DDS

I have been going to Dr. Farzad for at least 10 years and to his father for 20 years before that. Dr. Farzad is a great dentist and I highly recommend him. It’s easy to make an appointment, his employees are friendly and know their jobs well.

My family and I have been coming here for years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Most people hate going to the dentist but the staff here make you feel very comfortable. I know I am in good hands. Thank you Dr!

On October 5^th, I scheduled my 1^st consultation for bonding with Dr. Philip Farzad. Everything went fine. He quoted me my treatment price around $ 1100, if I paid cash only. He said he, «would work with me.» He wrote my quote on a back of a piece of paper in front of me at his office front desk, next to his receptionist. During the end of my 1^st visit, I bought whitening trays at $ 80. I left happy and was pretty positive I had found a dentist to do the bonding treatment I was looking for.
After using 4 of the whitening trays, I starting throwing up. I communicated this to him via email, stopped utilizing the trays and used store bought whitening strips. I called his office questioning the refund policy. He shared he wouldn’t give me a refund. (Which actually did not bother me too much.)
At this point, I’m not even seeking/​consulting with other dentists.
My first request for my bonding treatment was Friday, December the 11^th. NO Response to his email.
I called his office during my lunch hour on December 21^st. Dr. Philip Farzad answers the phone himself. I told him I would like to go over a payment plan for my bonding, from the price he quoted me. I also wanted to make my bonding apt. quickly, because I had a couple of upcoming speeches. His response he shares, heneeds 2 hours for the entire bonding and schedules me for Monday, December 28^th at 2pm and tells me to arrive at 1:30pm to go over the payment plan. He stats again he «will take care of me.» He will do bonding at 2pm. Also, keep in mind, I take time off of work for this.
Monday, December 28^th arrives & I arrive to his office edifice around 1pm. Park. Take the elevator up to the 8^th floor and walk into his office a little before 1:30pm. I ask to utilize the bathroom (a key is needed) to brush my teeth before my 2 hour bonding treatment.
Dr. Farzad provides a chair, with a massage mat for me and I sit/​wait patiently for about 30 minutes before he comes to me and tells me that we CAN NOT do the bonding because I haven’t had my teeth cleaning done! Thinking: WHAT THE F — !!! He couldn’t tell me that over the phone when we spoke on the 21^st!!! Completely livid inside, I remain calm & bring up a payment plan. He does not have the price he quoted me in the file and simply says that my «treatment will be very expensive.» Thinking AGAIN: WHAT THE F — !!! As, we walk back to the front desk, it’s 2pm now, I ask to be validated. He has the audacity to say, «Because this is a consultation, I don’t validate unless I perform a treatment on you.» He says, He provided a massage, while I waited! Thinking AGAIN AGAIN: WHAT THE F — !!! I told him that «was a scheduled treatment. YOU told me to come at 2pm because you needed 2 hours for bonding!!» Completely WASTED my time off of work!!! Remember, Y’all… this is only my 2^nd time going into his office! DO NOT USE DR. PHILIP FRAZAD! WHAT A JOKE! WHAT A HEADACHE! Deceitful… Who treats new customers like this???
I email him after the apt. and tell him how disappointed I was.
Here is my email: «I came to you because I thought your reviews on Unilocal were decent. You completely wasted my time today! When we spoke on the phone, while you were scheduling my apt. last week… You told me you needed 2 Hours at least to do the bonding! I told you I took time off of work to get this done for my speeches! Why couldn’t you have told/​asked me over the phone if I was going to get a cleaning done today?! You had to wait for me to drive up there & then called today’s apt. „A consultation“ when I’ve already had one!!! I wanted to go over pricing… Again which I do not understand why you couldn’t go over it on the phone! You said „it’s a lot of money.“ Who says that to their clients or potential clients?! I would expect a figure! Plus you quoted me $ 1100 in Oct. at my first consultation if I paid cash! Your service is simply horrible!!! I sat in the chair for almost an hour waiting & you gave the audacity to argue about validation!!! Please expect a negative review on Unilocal!»
His response: «I am sorry you feel that way. I have spent over 2 hours of my time going over what you want to have done. I also lost valuable time today because no treatment was performed. You were early for your appointment today and because I wanted you to be comfortable I put you in the chair to get a massage until I was ready to start. I do not understand why you need to go over the pricing again if you got a quote from me in October.»
I then get a call & voicemail from Katie, an office staff, telling me that «My health is not at risk. And it’s important to call the office tomorrow.» Very peculiar!
Completely UNPROFESSIONAL! UNORGANIZED! UNETHICAL! Clearly DIDN’T Listen! Why he couldn’t answer my questions over the phone but insisted I come in is incomprehensible! Don’t waste your time… find someone else!

Amazing dentist! I would recommend him to all my family and friends! Always on time with all appointments.

This guy takes all the fears away from dentistry. My kids love coming here and I don’t even have to bribe them.

Doctor Farzad is the best, most communicative and easy to understand dentist I’ve ever been to. I need (ed) quite a bit of work done. He was actually the third dentist I went to for the same issue.
He helped me understand why I needed the work, how long it could take to potentially have it all done, and helped me feel extremely comfortable with the process (which I am normally not comfortable at dentists’ offices). I even caught myself laughing during a tooth extraction (seriously) because the Doc is so darn funny and easy to deal with.
I’m most comfortable here than any other practice.
I have seen the work Dr Farzad has done, And it’s all EXCELLENT! His work on my smile has been life changing! No joke.
I’ve also seen him work with kids, and he makes them soooo comfortable.
This man is amazing! This practice is amazing! And all the people who work at his practice are also amazing! Especially Alejandra and Kate! who always makes me smile.
Oh! And that view!!!

Hello out there if you are in need of dental work please go se Dr. Phillip he has been taking care of me and my families dental needs for the past 5 years. I m setting in his chair now it is always pain free staff is wonderful and trust me you will be coming back for more pretty teeth.

Dr. Phil is hands down the most gentle, virtually pain free experience I have ever had at the dentist. The receptionist, dental assistants, and staff are wonderful. I’m glad a close family friend recommended this office, my whole family comes now and we all love the entire view of the valley from your seat while running the chair’a massagers.

Such a great place, Kate is the receptionist and she is great. The doctor is very helpful, and very patient. Great prices and such a good staff.

By far the best experience I have had at the dentist. Painless, friendly customer service, massagers in the chairs, and a stunning view of the valley from your chair. My whole family comes to Dr. Phil, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Dr. Farzad is very gentle and patient. I have been going to his practice and have always had a positive experience. I am usually terrified of the dentist but not of Dr. Farzad. He is nice and always makes sure that I’m not anxious before he does anything in my mouth. I highly encourage anyone to try him as a dentist and I hope that you make him your primary dentist like how I did!

If I could give ten stars I would. He took me today last minute due to a terrible tooth ache that ended up in a surprise route canal. Yay! :l for some reason my nerve wasn’t getting numb so the process was horrible but I can’t say enough about how much better I feel. The dentist is so patient and very caring. He made sure I was doing the best I could be doing the whole time. His assistant was rubbing and squeezing my shoulder throughout the whole thing which sounds so silly but it made me feel so much better. And the ladies that answer the phone were so diligent about making sure I got in right away. Thank you so much! Sorry for the inconvenience but I am so glad that you guys were able to see me today!

Love coming to these people! Always warm, welcoming, and friendly! Always cheerful and they’re quick and painless too! Trust these guys with every bicuspid I have!

Dr. Farzad is a wonderful dentist. The staff is very friendly and I am very pleased with the dental work I receive in his office. There are even massage chairs for relaxation while Dr. Farzad works on maintaining my beautiful smile. I highly recommend his dental practice to my family and friends. You should pay him a visit and see what I mean.

I have been coming to Dr. Philip for 10+ years now and I’ve never been disappointed. He’s very personable and EXTREMELY knowledgable about dentistry. I know my teeth are in good hands when I visit his office.

My Family and I have been coming here for 13 years since I was a teen & I’ve never had any issues… Dr Farzad is very patient and professional.
