One Tuff Cookie is a personal baking service dedicated to 100% wholesome cookies and muffins. We use only nutrient dense ingredients such as whole grains, extra protein and fiber, antioxidants, healthy fats, and all natural sweeteners. Items are personalized to ones needs and desires. Vegan, gluten free, and/​or sugar free (stevia and xylitol all natural sweeteners used), are all available as well. YAY for desserts that are «real food» in disguise!

History

Established in 2010.

Owner Connie Plunkett (an RN and mom) turned a life long healthy– baking obsession into «one tuff cookie» after much encouragement from family and friends. Convinced she may be on to something, she set out to prove that baked goods and healthy eating can be one and the same. Whether you’re diabetic, vegan, gluten intolerant, or «dieting», she set out to fill just about anyone’s sweet tooth, gullt free.

Called the number yesterday only to find out that the information in this Unilocal page is now different.
Connie now runs the business from her home (if i am not mistaken) and takes orders to deliver later. There’s no shop or anything.
She was really helpful and pointed me somewhere else since i needed pastries to buy in 10 minutes. So yeah that was cool. Needless to say, ill keep her in mind when i need some more artisanal stuff later. For that moment, i was just looking for something generic since my friend was craving.

Wow! I can assure you will be only happy. The owner really cares what she bakes and sells. If you can’t eat dairy this is the place to go. No matter how far you live it’s worth the drive.

I can’t say enough nice things about Connie and her cookies.
She bent over backwards to help me with my request for bread and cookies that would comply with my hypoallergenic diet.
She cares so deeply and is so generous.
Not only are the cookies delicious and subtle but they speak volumes as to quality and the fact that Connie cares about her customers health.
I feel so lucky to have found such a gem of a business.

I stumbled upon this place and decided to check it out. I was impressed by the décor and selection of goodies in here. I have always been a fan of Snickerdoodle cookies and was amazed by the richness of their cookie. There is quality that can be tasted on all sections of the taste buds.
The muffins look amazing and I will eventually try all of the flavors until I have reached the limits of their inventory.
I will be back and see if they have a sampler pack that I can purchase.
I am not vegetarian or vegan but I see they have a great selection for those in that category or even for those who just want to eat something healthy and nutritious.

As a nutritionist, I recommend Xylitol as a substitute for sugar and artificial chemical sweeteners. Cooking with it can be challenging for my clients, so I refer them to Connie. She has mastered the technique of creating sugar free, gluten free baked goods. The snickerdoodles are THE BEST!

These healthy baked goods are AMAZING! My 9 year old can’t get enough of the sugar-​free banana bread, and he has no idea it is actually healthy. Love the strawberry cupcakes and all of the cookies. Great for no-​guilt snacks:)

I have quite the sweet tooth. Oreos, M&Ms, Chips Ahoy. You get the picture.
Now that I’ve discovered I have a few health issues, I’m much more aware of what I’m putting in my body. But, cutting out all sweets — how does one live without chocolate? — was going to be next to impossible! I was so excited when I found One Tuff Cookie. It doesn’t taste like I’m doing something good for myself at all.
If this is what vegan, gluten free, dairy free and peanut free tastes like — count me in!

Whatever your pleasure is, she can customize your order to suit food allergies, diet constraints, and likings. She truly loves what she does and is always up for a new challenge to meet your needs. Who knew vegan, healthy cookies could taste so good? Connie is mindful of food alergies, healthy ingredients and good taste. The oatmeal is out of this world! I met Connie at a local salon when she was just starting out, baking at home. She’s expanded her line and it’s as good as ever. A must!

I can bake a few things. When a number of my friends went gluten free and vegan, I found it impossible to make things for them that actually tasted good. Connie has solved that problem. Everything I’ve gotten from her has been a major success with my friends and me. And the gift baskets she put together for me were precious. Connie’s cookies are absolutely amazing and so healthy. You feel like you are cheating and you aren’t. They taste better than regular cookies and what an assortment! Finally! We all love desserts but as a fitness trainer, I am always hesitate to recommend something that is «bad for you.» One Tuff Cookie has changed all that! While sugar is generally to be avoided, no one should live in fear of the sugar police. A little sugar EVERY NOW AND THEN will not kill you nor will it harm your weight management efforts.
Artificial sweeteners on the other hand, do more harm than good-​which is another reason I love One Tuff Cookie-​they only use natural sweeteners. If the product is a decidedly «no sugar added product,» (so they carry both by the way), it is usually sweetened with Stevia or Xylitol, the ONLY artificial sweeteners I approve of.
Now I can recommend a great product to my clients, in good conscious, that is really too delicious to be called «alternative.»
Way to go One Tuff Cookie, for really living up to the word «healthy «while being absolutely delicious.

One Tuff Cookie is the answer to your dreams of all of those who crave delicious desserts but can’t eat dairy, wheat, vegan or ask for something special.
Everything is delicious!!! Connie, the owner, oversees, bakes, taste everything she makes and is fasticious about her business. Need something special for an event? She can do it and with a smile on her face. I have used her services for two parties and she outdoes herself everytime. Thank you, Connie for being there. How did I ever live without you before?
