I recently moved to Pasadena from Hollywood and didn’t know the public transportation system out here. I caught 2 buses and 2 trains 3hrs one way to get to work in the Valley every day. Now I catch the 549 and now I catch 2 buses 1.5hrs …I love it. I rather sleep on the bus than fight sleep driving home from work.

..Just catching it @ the southwest corner of Burbank Blvd. and Hazeltine Ave. to and sometimes from Glendale College has been an excellent idea to go. If time and money would like a break and so with driving, it’s definitely a try. Also, knowing they have 3 bike racks to use– I Always take mine. Their motor-​coaches are as comfortable as Amtrak’s. :-)

I use this bus daily between Encino and Burbank. The drivers are great and the bus comfortable. The only complaint I have is that, in the evening, they are consistently late by at least 10 min to almost 25 min due to traffic on the west bound 134. The two things that might help is to either build that delay into the schedule or get on the
website so that passengers know when to arrive at the bus stop, rather than standing around in the heat or the dark, depending on the season.

I take this commuter to and from work everyday. Saves me so much time and money. The bus driver is always on time and very pleasant. I don’t know her name but when I do I’ll write a review praising her and her friendliness. I get off work at 5:30 everyday and get home by 6:05. Not to mention I ride my bike from the glendale park and ride stop. I still manage to get home at a reasonable time. It is convenient to those that work/​live in the pasadena/​glendale/​burbank area.

I think we should all give our automobiles a break and use public transportation. It’s easy, once you get the hang of it.
On my second day, getting on my 2nd bus, I handed the bus driver my transfer ticket who refused it. huh? wha? «I used it yesterday. Maybe the driver from the day before took pity on me. Ok. tell me what to do?»
The bus driver just kept repeating, «You can’t use that, we haven’t used those in months»
I ended up paying an additional 90 cents. But when I got to work, I called LADOT and was told that I WAS RIIIIGHT!!! :0)
But how do I tell that to him (busdriver)?
