Description

Specialties

Did you know most Michelin 3 star rated restaurants reside in Tokyo, Japan? These restaurants ranges not only from Japanese cuisine, but also include Italian, French, Spanish, Korean and Chinese cuisines.

When people visit Japan and return to the US, they are often frustrated by the limited offerings of Japanese cuisine here as we are limited to Sushi, Teriyaki, SoCal specially rolls, and the knife throwing Teppanyaki. Sure, we do have some smaller establishments that offer ramen, robata and izakaya dishes but these places are often so specialized and limited, as well as outdated in what Japan is offering today.

With 160 locations in Tokyo, Japan. Our goal is to bring to you our most popular dishes that are favorites amongst our Japanese customers in Tokyo. Our stores are staffed with our very own chefs from our Japan operation to ensure authenticity as well as timely delivery of the most popular dishes from Tokyo to your table.

Come join us and celebrate Japanese cuisine here in LA

History

Established in 1980.

Established here in the US in 2011, but founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1980, we are excited and proud to present to you the best that Tokyo has to offer.

With 160 locations in Tokyo, Japan, we embarked on a journey here to the US in 2011 with the sole intention of getting the US consumers to see all that Japan has to offer. From culinary shows like Iron Chef, many know of Japan’s culinary focus on natural ingredients, presentation as well as capturing of each food product’s flavor during their seasonal prime.

However, such focus are lost here in the US with drenched Teriyaki sauces as well as limited offering of Japanese cuisine.

This is when we took it upon us to help spread the wide culinary offering that Japan has to offer. Come and join us and celebrate Japanese cuisine here in LA!
