Had an older computer that was petty much a paper weight. Eric upgraded everything it needed to be better than new. Now I use he’s services to maintain both my business and home computers. He’s very trustworthy and reliable. Highly recommend getting he’s input before spending any money on a computer.

For years now I have been trying to find someone I can call upon for all my computer issues. As an editor, I cannot afford down time because if my systems don’t work then I don’t earn. So imagine my joy when I found Eric! He has dealt with both my PC and my MAC issues and had me fully operational again with the least disruption.
He diagnosed the issues, ordered the components, installed and repaired. Now that I’ve found my «computer guy», I can even afford to upgrade my edit system.
Thorough, reasonable, patient, and really good, that’s Eric.

Calm, knowledgeable, and professional are a few of the words that best describe Eric. My iMac hard drive died. I previously took it to the Apple Store but they couldn’t do anything. I called Eric who patiently listened to what was going on. I gave him my computer and although he was unable to rescue the data from the broken hard drive, (he removed HD, sealed it up and prepared it for me to send to another place at no charge), he was able to clean out my iMac and replace the original hard drive with a Solid State Hard Drive that made my computer faster and more efficient. I then, gave him my MacBook Pro to do the same. He backed everything up and updated both computers and made sure both were running perfectly. He never oversold me anything, was very honest and took the time to go over options with me.
Eric follows up and encourages for you to call him for any computer questions/​needs. He is very reasonable, worth what he charges, he will take great care of your computer, and I highly recommend Eric at Geek4Cheap if you are experiencing computer related issues.

Eric was great. He cloned my hard drive and installed a new one I bought to upgrade my 2009 Macbook Pro. Very professional, friendly service — and when I ran into a slight issue after the clone he walked me through it and offered to come fix for free (though I ended up figuring it out). He followed up a few times to make sure all was operating perfectly — would definitely recommend Eric and use him again!

Eric is awesome, always comes on time, never late. Very kind personality, and friendly service. We had 3 totaled laptops, he came and fixed two of them at our house, and took the other one to his place to fix, the next day he brought it back all fixed and perfect, and then a few weeks later we called him again to fix a little issue with my laptop, he finished in 30 min. I highly recommend Eric, he is the technology boss, if Eric can’t fix it no one can. His prices might be expensive but overall it’s ok.

My MacBook Pro was running super slow and was in desperate need of an upgrade. Not wanting to buy a new laptop I called the guys at geek 4 cheap for some help. They came to my rescue and upgraded my machine to a whole new level that I didn’t know was possible. The capabilities and knowledge that the technician has was unbelievably flawless! Very professional and knowledgable… Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t call anyone else in the future.

Eric was great! He came over to my house and fixed my Lenovo laptop hardware issues. He came over and gave me an assessment of which part was bad and needed replacing without charging me. Then after the part arrived, I called him to come over and install the part. I could tell that he has a meticulous and detail-​oriented personality and did a clean job. A week after he left I noticed that the keyboard was a bit lose and I called to take care of it, which he did the next day.
Satisfied with everything and will be calling him again if needed.

What can I say to explain my rating. Eric came to my house, did all I asked, told me that my laptop was slow and should be cleaned. That would be another $ 100. Sounded sensible, so I gave it to him. He came back with it and did another bit of work for me then. A few days later my laptop stopped working in a major way. Mind you… it worked fine before he took it to «clean it up». I don’t know whether this was a coincidence or not… but I contacted him to see if he could fix this issue. Suddenly he was almost impossible to reach. Finally after several days, he said if I hooked up my laptop to my router he could fix it remotely. He gave me a specific date and time in which to do that. So, I did that (i, e. plug the laptop into the router) so he could log in remotely. It is now 5 days later and I’ve not heard a word from him about this. I’ve obviously given up on him coming through for me on this issue, and of course wouldn’t consider using him again. It’s too bad because the rest of the work I asked him to do he did well and he seemed like a nice fellow. But lack of follow through on this issue is totally unprofessional.

Eric is excellent. My computer locked from a virus on a Saturday morning. After calling several local repair people (most of whom wanted to format the hard drive) I found Eric on Unilocal and he was able to get to the computer that morning. Assured me he could not only fix issue without wiping drive clean, but would have it back to me the next day — Sunday. Delivered as promised, and had cleaned it up as well. He explained everything he did when he returned my laptop. Very thorough.
Eric is very tech savvy, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, helpful & courteous. Good follow-​up. Highly recommend!

We had a hard drive go belly up on us on Saturday. Eric met us out while we were running errands, said he’d fix it overnight, and get it back to us on Sunday so that we could have the computer up and running for the work week.
As promised, it was ready mid-​day Sunday, and he dropped the computer back off at our house. We didn’t even have to put on shoes. He walked us through the fixes, and showed us how everything was exactly the same as our old hard drive, only with a few hundred extra gigs to spare now. And for a great rate, too!
Highly recommended.

Eric is a lifesaver! When my Macbook Pro suddenly refused to boot up I was stressin’ BIG TIME. I didn’t have my info backed up and I didn’t have money for a new computer or new hard drive (actually kinda just didn’t have money PERIOD). I researched the problem and tried everything to fix it on my own for 2 or 3 weeks until I finally threw in the towel and decided I’d have to hire somebody to fix it. I found Geek 4 Cheap and talked to Eric, who was super helpful. He took it with him and brought it back the next day; running smoothly, with all my info intact! He even added some helpful stuff and took the time to run through it all with me. I expected him to want more money because it was a lot more work than he originally thought but nope– still the same price he quoted me before. He even called me a few days later to check in and make sure my laptop was still running properly. Fantastic service!
Happy I found these guys, and I’ll definitely be calling them again the next time I screw something up on my computer.

I was surprised to find an authorized Apple Tech in Sylmar. This guy is great and reasonably priced. The diagnostic and troubleshooting was free. He’s very knowledgable and was very flexible with the payment, since I was kinda broke. All in all a true diamond in the rough. also works and customizes iPhones.

These fellas are amazing! Excellent service and hard working young men. My motherboard on my macbook pro took a dive and the hard drive contained over 10,000 precious family photos. The boys at Geeks4Cheap recovered the photos and then some! Great service, very affordable and very dependable!
