David R Milstein, MD

Dr. Milstein is the best plastic surgeon That I have personally had experience with. He is very patient and caring and a perfectionist. I am a bit of an insomniac and have a hard time falling asleep so I am usually wide awake during my procedures (ha I’m a freak of nature!) but he talks me through it and we have good conversation as he makes me feel relaxed during my procedures. I have recently gained about 40 pounds over the past year due to stress and hormones and he has really helped with my body image. I started to lose complete definition in my face as well and have resorted to excessive makeup contouring around my chin but after my chin procedure I no longer have to do that! It has been a week and my chin looks great so far: as well as my arms, back, and stomach!

I’ve tried several ways of coming to terms with the doctors lawyer and they’ve rejected even my request to just finish the job that should’ve been done the first time. My lawyer has asked me to reach out and see if anyone would be willing to put their experience in writing & send to me.
Also, when i recieved my medical records they were incorrect, he didn’t document what the treatment and even the medications the he said he gave me were the wrong ones. I’m going to be filing a grievance to the state medical board against his license for falsifying my medical records. If any of you would be willing to request your records and see if he changed anything on your records, it would be fantastic to have more examples to give to the state board.

I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Milstein and his wonderful staff. My daughter had her first lipo consultation today, unfortunately she was not a candidate for the procedure. I would like to that Dr. Milstein and Helen for thier professional recommendation to seek other alternatives. They could have easily pushed the procedure on my daughter to make money but instead they took the time to explain to her that she may not get the results she desired and did not want to disappoint her. .Thank you for your honesty, compassion and time .

Dr. Milstein is an artist of lipo. I had my procedure three months ago and I couldn’t be happier; amazing results! He and his staff were very clear about what I could and should do before, during and most importantly after the procedure and I followed it very strictly– it was worth it.
The office is a bit on the basic side and it takes a while to get appointments scheduled because they are quite busy but the prices are reasonable and the staff is really responsive and available via phone, text and email.
They will explain everything, line up all the steps for you and make it very easy. I can’t say this enough: wear your suit day and night as they tell you, and you won’t regret it. Yes, it will hurt but then, it is lipo.
You have to be a participant in your own care, be clear as to what you want, communicate, and have realistic expectations. If you do that, you will most likely be very very happy with Dr Milstein and his staff.
Dr. Milstein is great and has wonderful communication. My mom just told me I look like a supermodel, and I have never hear a compliment about my body from her in my life.

I am so happy with Dr. Milstein and his lovely and caring staff. I purchased a Groupon and had my flanks (muffin tops) reduced 2 weeks ago and I’m so happy with the results. The procedure went flawless with Dr. Milstein and his staff being so calm and reassuring and since I only had the one area done (both sides though), I had a local tumescent anesthesia so I was awake and alert during the procedure and yet, felt very calm, and even chatted a bit with Dr. Milstein. The worst part of it for me is the compression suit and I wish I had gone up a size, but I am so very grateful that the procedure itself went so incredibly smooth and that I had zero pain afterwards, so I never had to take a thing for that. I have one regret… that I didn’t have my abdomen done :) It’s such an amazing deal though that in addition to the groupon price, it’s just the prescription, labs, and compression suit, which altogether was approximately an additional $ 400.00 for me. My best advice would be to go in with a really positive attitude on the procedure day, keep calm, and tell yourself that your recovery will go really well, and that the recovery is only temporary, but the results last. I’ve had a few procedures done with Dr. Milstein within the last couple of years and have to say he’s the best! No complications, up and running around the next day, and the results have been amazing. His staff is friendly, the doctor himself is very honest and knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend him.

I went to the initial consultation which went well. Helen answered all my questions. I waited several months to find time to get procedure done. I found Dr. Milstein to be very professional and honest from the start. The procedure took few hours, until I was being driven the hour home. I was sent home with antibiotic, pain pills and anxiety sleep medications. Always felt in great hands during and after procedure. I have an extensive background in medical wound care, so I’m picky about doctors. Dr. Milstein is amazing, very intelligent, knowledgeable, good communication skills, and talented at pure lipo. I’m 59 years old and had upper, lower stomach and flank-​sides and upper back by armpits. After going through menopause at 56 I had a horrible time with weight gain. After the pure lipo surgery I easily made the hour home. Was in some medium pain which pain pills helped relieved definitely. Hardest part was getting in and out of bed first and second day. After that only took pain pills before bedtime for another ten days. A week after had the pure lipo I could tell it made a huge difference in my body shape. Before I looked pregnant in clothes, but now already four weeks after I look and feel like forty instead almost sixty. I feel much healthier physically and psychologically feel Dr. Milstein gave me back my life! I don’t work for him and never met him until day of surgery. I found him to be extremely cautious and caring professionally. I did follow all his directions exactly. Wearing my compression Bella garment it helps and going to synergize treatments for helping lymph system which been big plus in healing journey. I’m super happy I took this opportunity and used the groupon. My before and after pictures leave me speechless. Anyone wanting to get pure lipo definitely have Dr. Milstein he’s gifted like an artist in how he used the pure liposuction to improve my body shape, so naturally looking it’s amazing. He’s awesome! And NO one paid or told me to say that either. All his staff are sweet, caring and helpful. They text me and respond always to my text. I’ve sent picture in once and will again next week which is 5weeks after treatment. My swelling is going down still and numbness recessing as expected, but my full recovery will take weeks more. The improvements are happening everyday, with bruising recently gone and tiny entrance wounds healed week 3. My family is happy and amazed how much less of me there is now and healthier looking I am. It’s almost unbelievable at 59 years to have my body shape better than before menopause at 56 and the amazing sense of hope it’s brought into my life. It’s already very obvious he did a really good job of pure liposuction on me. I give Dr. Milstein and his employees a 10 Plus!!! They are the best of the best!

Dr. Milstein is truly Amazing ! His staff is great too, Helen is so sweet and Ada the receptionist is always calling and texting me to make sure I am scheduled for my appointments or reminders. Dr. Milstein is beyond the best doctor I’ve ever had, he gives you his personal cell phone number to text or call at any time if you have any concerns or questions and he gests back to you immediately. I had 4 areas done, upper abs, lower abs, upper back fat (flanks lower /​love handles). I have a curve in my lower back now which looks amazing cause gives my butt great definition. My waist line is amazing I haven’t seen my waist line so small in forever !!! I still have a lower belly but its smaller now and with exercise and healthy eating it’s going away fast. I can wear clothes that actually look flattering on me !!! He did an amazing job. First week was not so bad, mostly tired and slept cause pain meds, second week you feel the pain more but it wasn’t horrible just discomfort and after the 2 weeks you can move around, and do normal activities again. The second week I had some itching and swallowing on a small area on my back mainly dry skin I went crazy I couldn’t stop itching or sleep because of it, I texted Dr. Milstein at 2:30am asking to please tell me what I can do to make the itching stop, he texted me 10 min later saying to take benadryl or apply benadryl cream gel on the area .I was so happy he responded so fast and ever since then I was okay ! I just used the gel and sure enough the itching went away completely in a couple days. Dr. Milstein truly listens to you and what you want. I recommend him to all my friends. I found him on Groupon and did a lot of research ! And I’m so happy I chose him!

So far I have to say this office is great! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Dr. Milstein is very professional, friendly, and thorough. It is a very busy office, so you do have to wait a little for your appointment, but I love that I can just e-​mail/​text the doctor or the staff and they reply within a normal time frame. Thank you all in the office! :)

HAD AN INFECTION ON BOTH SIDES AND NO VOLUME STAYED. WASTE OF MONEY AND PAIN.
my abs and flanks are so hard I cant sleep, bend, sit or stand. Dr wouldn’t return calls or texts.
The hang of my belly looks smaller, but I still look 9months pregnant. Swelling is gone. I still look the same.
I am 1 month post op and all communication has stopped.
Doctor stop communication about my concerns. My real doctor says I still have infections on both sides and have me more meds.
MONEY ISN’T EVERYTHING DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Staffs are great and very accompdating, Dr. M is very very knowledgable, he is an eye specialist as well as a license cosmetic surgeon. His work is excellent. Just an info, Doctors are busy so dont expect them to be calling you everytime, in this case Dr. M is one of that kind, if you dont text or call him he will not communicate with you Asap, he will wait for you to contact him, but the post op check ups are great because he will literally tell you if you are in good shape or you need to avoid this and that., he strictly told me that to have a proper posture or else i will end up getting some lines, lumpy or bumpy and bad results.

Dr milstein is a great dr. on third day post op and I already see significant results. He’s very passionate about his work and gives honest answers. His staff are also very caring and on the day of surgery and after, the dr and staff text you or call you to see how you’re doing. Im happy to do my upper/​lower abdomen and flanks with him and coming back to do my inner thighs soon. Totally recommend hi to everyone.

Went last week for a consultation. A consultation that literally took me 2 months to get. I really didn’t get why it took so long or why they booked so far out. I expected to see a busy office as a result of the scheduling. Not the case, it was empty when I arrived. The set up is weird to say the least. You enter the office and you are in a dark, silent room, a love seat and a flat screen t.v. that isn’t turned on. (kinda like when you walk into a counseling office). I’m standing there thinking, ok??? This is weird! So I’m in this closed off room, no reception window, just a room. Then Helen appears, very friendly lady who hands me a clip board and a bunch of papers to fill out. When I’m done, I ring a bell on the wall. She reappears and takes me to a room. This place is TINY inside, or I just didn’t see the rest of the office. But it was strange, just Helen and I in this room that was obviously also being used for storage. Boxes, stacked high to the ceiling of supplies, pretty crammed for space in there. We were the only two in this empty, quiet office. I feel that as much money as this Dr. is making here with the procedures done, they can at least spring for a room divider or some kind of curtain to hide all of the boxes. Ends up that I’m really not a good candidate for their services and I appreciated Helen’s honesty. But personally, I would think twice about getting something done here even if I did need it just based on my observations of the office and the weird vibe. And PS… they DON’T validate. It cost $ 2.50 every 15 minutes.

I bought a groupon in March, thought wow what a deal! I called the next day to make my appointment, they couldn’t see me til May 4^th. OK that’s fine, I can wait just as long as it moves along after that. Yesterday which was my appointment I get there. They try to sell me every procedure as I look at pictures of myself. I was told it wouldn’t look right to do one area. OK so she is listing price after price… finally I ask when I can get it done. September or October?! Really I wasted all this time & effort for this!!! Plus you pay for meds, blood work &&& wait a $ 200 body suit or surgical suit. BTW they Do Not Validate! Thanks for kicking me when I was down :(

Dr. M is a great doc, down to earth understands what you want,
The staff where the greatest most helpful there was only one thing that I wasn’t cool with, I was suppose to get my fat transferred to my breast but it didn’t happen because they told me I needed a mammogram the day of my purseger but it worked out because I got it on my butt instead. Happy happy customer.

Mindblowingly, unbelievably amazing. The doctor is the best caretaker in all medicine I’ve had in my life. The staff is fun, helpful, and always there for questions. Seriously, these procedures made me have such a better outlook on my health and my life and I’m looking forward to doing the rest of the work on my own after tons of help from the doctor. I look like a different person — in a much happier, healthier, better way. Thanks everyone!

Great nice staff ! everyone was so patient with me, answered all my questions.
Today I underwent body sculpture on my flanks, was super nervous however Dr. Milstein assured me that this is a simple and quick prodecure that will be turning out great! Along the process they interacted with me, ensurring I was doing O.K. then called my driver so he can be there ready to take me home.
Right now I feel O.K. slight dizziness, just trying to sleep/​rest it all off. Ada even sent me a text reminding me to get lots of rest including the office # and Dr. Milsteins # after hours, for all my questions.
In conclusion, my experience was great with all the staff., they really made me feel confident and ready! Can’t wait to fully see my results!

I had my surgery on October 8 and this Wednesday will be 6 weeks post surgery. I did my inner/​outer thighs and my lower and upper stomach. I did not do this surgery to lose weight, so if that is your goal you need to reevaluate that. This was my jump start to getting rid of areas I was having a hard time losing. And let me tell you… I saw huge results! I’m so happy with everything that Dr. Milstein and his office have done for me. I am 24 years old and I feel like I can finally feel like it!

Absolutely OBSESSED with my results! Dr. Milstein and staff were professional, informative, helpful and most importantly knew what they were doing because I look great. I will post a before and after picture of my flanks.

First of all, I’d like to thank Dr. Milstein and his staff at LABodySculpture for an amazing experience and a job well done. I recently underwent a fat transfer to my buttocks a month and a half ago. I am 27 years old and I have never been happier with my body than today. My recovery time was about 3 weeks and although I did have some moderate pain, Dr. Milstein recommended ways in order to help feel better and ease the pain. Time did fly by, and I can’t believe how good I look, but most importantly how good I feel and how much better I feel about myself now. I’m so happy with my results and I’m very glad I found Dr.Milstein. I definitely recommend him to anyone!
