Dali’s Child Daycare

Both of my children went to Dali’s Daycare. My son attended from age 1 – 3. And my daughter from age 3 months –20 months. We followed Dali’s Daycare from Valley Village to Sherman Oaks and then to Encino, even though we live in Burbank. Dali always made us feel that our childs needs were being met and she and her assistant Claudia, always knew how to handle our childs changing behavior. Both our children were fond of Dali and Claudia and we never had a problem leaving them when dropping off. On top of the care the daycare was always clean and organized. We recommend this daycare highly!

Dali’s daycare is really fantastic. We moved to the USA about a year ago with our 5 months old and he started at Dali’s at 7. It was a big move for us, I needed to make sure my baby was in good hands, and he was. He was always a big sleeper (and still is) and Dali has really made sure to respect his rythm. At 17 months, she makes sure he still takes his naps (very much needed) naps a day, she is feeding the kids home made soups, with many vegetables and following the routine of each kid so well.
It did not take long for me to be certain that my baby would be fine there. When we drop him in the morning, he always is so happy to go there and play with all the other kids and Dali.
Dali also works with amazing people who treat children as if they were family. It’s an environement that is both healthy and caring. This is exactly what I was expecting from my baby. I higly recommend the place if you want your children to be cared for, loved and blossoming as young little individuals.

We can’t say enough good things about Dali’s. Our son has been going to Dali’s since he was 1 year old. He’s been there almost 10 months now and although she recently moved to Encino and is farther away from where we live, we are keeping him there because he loves it so much. He is excited to get there and doesn’t want to leave when it’s time to go home! I feel like he is learning so much there — they listen to a lot of music and dance, they learn to count, say their ABCs and he is even saying the days of the week and he’s not yet 2 years old. We feel fortunate that Dali was a teacher for so many years and is so experienced at teaching little ones because we do feel like he’s very verbal and learning so much. Claudia and Lilly, the other women who help at Dali’s, are also amazing and my son loves them very much too. I feel like Dali and her staff genuinely adore my son, that he’s met great little friends that have lovely parents and he is in wonderful care. When I drop him off, I don’t worry. Dali’s is a gem and we are grateful to have found her. We are so happy there!

My son started at Dali’s Day Care when he was 18 months old — he’s now 2.5 years old and I am so thrilled we enrolled him at Dali’s. He looks forward to going every morning and he is excited to see Dali, her team, and all of the other kids. He has grown so much in just one year with Dali! Her background in education is incorporated into their day, he knows his ABCs, numbers and has started learning days of the week and colors. When I pick him up he proudly shows me the puzzle he is working or the book he is reading or the game he is playing. He is learning how to clean up after himself, how to share, and other important social skills. Dali provides healthy and delicious meals for the children. He has tried things I never imagined he would and he has enjoyed them! Dali and her team are very loving and genuinely care about each child. When I raise concerns with my son’s development she offers honest and carefully thought out feedback.
I enthusiastically recommend Dali’s Day Care! Dali is so much more than just a place that provides day care, it’s a nurturing environment that my son not only thrived in, but enjoys every day.

We started our daughter at Dali’s daycare when she was 12 months old and it was the best decision! My daughter is now 2 ½ years old and she is thriving there. She doesn’t want to leave when I come pick her up. Most importantly, she has learned social skills — she cleans up after herself, takes her turn, shares with others — all things that are difficult for a toddler. She has made many good friends. She knows the alphabet, numbers, and colors. Dali has puzzles, books, arts and crafts, an outdoor play area, and does circle time. She cooks nutritious and delicious food for the kids. I cannot recommend her daycare more!

My kids have been with Dali since about 3 months old. I have a 16 month old and a 2.5 year old. They love Dali, she’s like another grandma to them! We don’t have any family in town so I feel very fortunate to have found a place where the kids feel so at home and the environment is so nurturing not to mention all the yummy soups they get to eat. Dali used to teach Kindergarten so I feel she really incorporates her skills into activities with the kids from arts and crafts projects to dancing and singing. They are always doing something and learning the alphabet and counting. My daughter will be starting preschool soon and she will be well prepared. If you’re looking for a day care that is not corporate and has a homey feel with a motherly love, this is the place. I highly recommend it!

Our son started at Dali’s Daycare at age of 2 and we just transferred him to preschool at almost 4 years old. At his new preschool he is the most advanced from the group. He knows his A, B, Cs, numbers, shapes & colors. The preschool teacher is very impressed with all that he knows and his discipline. We can’t thank Dali for all the time she dedicated to our son.
What made us choose Dali’s Daycare? #1 reason — her place is always clean, healthy food and she is warm & very nurturing to the kids. We looked at several daycares before we found Dali’s Daycare and non of them came even close to what she has to offer.
It’s been two months that we haven’t seen her and we miss her dearly. She even has called to follow up to see how our son is doing at his new preschool.
We highly, highly recommend Dali’s Child Daycare and have no regrets!!!

Finding Dali was the BEST THING EVER for our family. We moved from NYC to LA when my daughter was 2. We had originally put her in another daycare which ended up being a total disaster… finding Dali was a GOD SEND!!! She is the best. She gave my daughter so much love and nurturing, and literally became another member of my family. In addition to letting the kids play and learn to interact with each other, she also helped teach her a lot so she was extremely ready when it was time to start Preschool at age 4. We were very happy that we decided to keep her there with Dali for 2 years, because she was a totally different child… more confident, knew how to interact with other children, very good at playing with others and sharing, etc, and the transition to preschool was that much easier for us.
I can’t put into words how special Dali is to us, and how INCREDIBLY HAPPY we were with her care of our daughter, and I would give more than 5 stars in this review if I could!

My son has been attending Dali’s Daycare since he was 15 months old, and he’s now 2. It’s been wonderful having him go to Dali’s. Before he went-​we were a little concerned about his language development and his eating habits (he would snack all day and not eat any meals at all). When you have an only child-​because you can anticipate their needs, they don’t have to work so hard to talk, and since they can get whatever they want from you as the parent, they push those boundaries as far as they can. Since being with Dali, his language has just exploded, because Dali, as a former teacher, teaches the children daily and does crafts and activities to engage their learning and motor senses. She also makes amazing food and soups loaded with vegetables which, I confess, I have a hard time getting him to eat. He loves eating there, and he adores soups now. It’s also been great watching him learn how to be around other children-​learning about how to share, and be kind, and be aware of others, since he doesn’t have siblings at home.
The most important thing is Dali and her staff love all their children. She treats my son like family-​so if she’s worried about his eating, or his behavior, or a cough, or a runny nose-she’ll let me know that she’s concerned and that helps me pay more attention to it. I feel like we’re a team-​if he begins to act up in daycare, then we can curb that behavior both at home and at daycare. Our newest battle is with the dreaded toddler whining. ^_​^ He’s become such an independent happy little guy, and that reassures me as a parent, especially as he gets closer to getting ready for preschool where he’ll be in a larger group of children. Obviously I can’t say enough kind things because it’s really been such a help and relief having Dali in our lives at such a formative time for our son. When someone has experience with children for as long as she has, you can definitely feel reassured that your child is in good hands. It’ll definitely be a sad day when he has to depart and go to preschool!

My daughter has been going to Dali’s Daycare since she was 11 months old. From the moment I walked into her home, I knew this place was very special. They take such good care of my daughter, from the food that Dali cooks to all of the activities, games and songs that they sing with her. She is great hands with Dali and the other care givers. We would highly recommend sending your child to Dali for daycare. She is the absolute best!!!

As a working parent I’m truly blessed to have found a daycare that feels like a second home. Dali’s Daycare is located in a beautiful, safe and quiet neighborhood in Sherman Oak near the 101 freeway, Beverly Glen and Coldwater Canyon. Dali has several years of experience in early education and is a mom of 2 kids herself. She is a kind, nurturing and loving woman who takes wonderful care of my children. The center also has two other caregivers who are excellent and my children adore them.
My son started going to Dali’s when he was 10 months old and my daughter started at 3 months. Both experiences have been wonderful. The interaction with other kids, circle time and educational activities throughout the day provide my kids with an enriching environment. They both enjoy going to Dali’s daily and interacting with their friends. My son started preschool at 3 and was very well equipped for the transition. She provided an early preschool experience. My son knows all his numbers, letters, colors, shapes and several songs. Another bonus of this wonderful daycare is Dali’s nutritious and delicious meals she serves the kids daily. It is reassuring to know that my children are being fed a well-​balanced meal every day. My son does not love vegetables, but loves Dali’s soups (full of veggies). My daughter had a serious injury at 13 months, which required extra care and attention. This was a very difficult time for our family. Dali and her caregivers provide my daughter with the extra support and love she needed during this time. They never complained or asked for anything extra, they were only concerned about my daughter’s well-​being and recovery. I can’t imagine another place I would send my children. Dali and her staff are amazing, like a family. I highly recommend this daycare.

I don’t know what I would do without Dali and her amazing daycare. My first son started with Dali when he was 18 months old and I was on bed rest while pregnant with my second. At first I felt guilty starting him in daycare, but I quickly came to realize that my son loved going to Dali’s everyday and playing with his friends. He even started to ask to go on weekends. She is kind, caring and her staff is incredible. She also has the unbelievable ability to get children to eat vegetables! My oldest is in preschool now and my second is now with Dali. My oldest loves coming to visit and my youngest loves Dali so much. When my second started with Dali, his separation anxiety was terrible. After just a month in daycare he was a completely knew little boy. She generally has a wait list but if you can send your child to this adorable home day care, you won’t regret it.

Dali has been such an asset to our family. She maintains a healthy food plan with all homemade organic products, an early preschool curriculum, and lots of singing and dancing. Dali graciously adhered to so many of my requests for my daughter’s food allergies. She listened when so many didn’t and she did whatever I felt was necessary to keep my daughter safe. Another perk is that she makes these amazing soups filled with vegetables that the kids just devour. She has even helped me incorporated her talents at soup making into my own. Dali always has feedback on how the day went for my little one and she has given good advice with any concerns or parenting hurdles we encountered. My daughter is now 3 and ready to move onto preschool. It will be hard to leave such a loving environment that I consider part of our family now.

My son started at Dali’s when he was just 4.5 months old and is now 3 and on his way to preschool. I was extremely nervous to leave my baby in the care of others when he was so young but meeting Dali was such a blessing. Her daycare offered the care, love, nurturing and education a young developing child needs. My son knows all his numbers, letters, comes home singing songs and even brings home art projects! As a working mom, it was always reassuring to know Dali and her staff makes home cooked meals that are far better than anything else I would make. My son is not a fan of vegetables but somehow he gobbles them up with Dali’s amazing soups! The daycare is located south of the blvd and is in a fabulously safe residential neighborhood in Sherman Oaks. It’s clean and safe for the kids who range from babies to toddlers. We lived in Sherman Oaks initially when my son began at Dali’s and have since moved to Tarzana but making the extra drive to Dali’s was a no briber for us as he thrived under her care. He is extremely vocal and social and I know growing up with the different kids around has been beneficial for his development. I recommend Dali’s daycare to anyone I know looking for child care.

My son started around his first birthday. He quickly found comfort in the daily routine at Dali’s. He enjoyed the variety of activities like outdoor play, stocking blocks, learning songs, and making crafts. Dali would let me know how he was doing periodically. We left a few months ago but only because my son was ready for preschool. She prepares homemade healthy meals for the kids and is a very warm person. She was nurturing, caring, and my son was safe and well taken care of. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Dali’s daycare is fantastic and so are Dali and her staff. I met Dali when my daughter was 3 months old. I wasn’t ready to put her in daycare yet but a spot had opened up and word on the street was if you can get a spot at Dali’s you take it!
I watched how all the kids were hugging Dali and Claudia before they left for the day and listened as their parents raved to me and my husband about Dali’s and how their kids were thriving there.
We had only gone to meet with Dali to check the place out but she was so warm and the place was so great that I considered starting my daughter right away because I didn’t want to lose my spot! But I really wasn’t ready yet and Dali told me she had another little girl on the waitlist so we didn’t take the spot and gave it up to the other girl.
I decided to stay home with my daughter until she was a year old so I put my name on Dali’s waitlist and I was so lucky that a spot opened up when my daughter was 13 months. I’m also really happy that we originally gave our spot to that other little girl because now she is my daughter’s best friend!
My daughter has been going to Dali’s for a year now and she loves it! She asks for Dali and Claudia and Lily (the staff members) at night and on weekends! And you know it’s a good sign when it’s hard to get my daughter to leave at the end of the day!
Dali’s is a wonderful, clean, safe, educational and fun daycare and Dali, Claudia and Lily are so loving towards the children. Our daughter has learned so much there. The other day she starting reciting the days of the week and my husband and I just looked at each other and said «She must’ve learned it at Dali’s!»
Dali also makes home cooked meals for the kids and provides milk and healthy snacks. I don’t have to worry about my daughter getting her vegetables because Dali makes soups full of vegetables (even kale!) and the kids eat it up and ask for more!
I know everyone wants a daycare that they trust and with Dali I know that my daughter is not only cared for but I feel like she is truly loved. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend Dali’s! So if you can get a spot, take it!
