California Air Duct

I also made an appointment with Liberty Dryer Vent Cleaning for a free estimate for cleaning the dryer vent and replace the duct at my parents’ house. They appear to be the same company as California Air Duct as they share the same address (5460 White Oak Ave., #D102, Encino, CA 91 316) and phone number (866) 606‑1110, just different websites. And yes, they are scammers. David convinces my mother that the duct needs to be changed to a metal one because the aluminum type will catch fire and is against the code, which was fine and my mother agreed. However, what he conveniently chose not to tell her was that he would be creating a bigger hole in the wall and not cover all of it properly. He instead places a wooden board to cover it and offers to have someone else come and cover it up permanently with plaster at extra cost! DO NOT USE THEM!

These people are scammers. They are not licensed, and overcharged me for the work they did. When I realized I was overcharged and called them, they never called back! DO NOT USE them! They ripped me off!
