Josh’s firm completed my personal and company return and provided great advice throughout the process – when forming an LLC I actually did the initial paperwork to create the business and hired a CPA as one of the last steps and I wish I had started with Azran! Josh and his staff have been great throughout the whole process and have a streamlined digital pipeline to make tax season easy after the new year. I would highly recommend in the future!

Had a very negative experience with this firm. I had some moderately complex tax issues to resolve (suspected ID theft on my account, primarily). The case dragged on for many months with little to know communication from the provider. Often, 3 or 4 consecutive emails would go without response. When a response was received, it was from a rotating door of accountant’s, some of whom had sub-​par English, which made it very hard to communicate with them.
Things really got ugly when, after a very long time of «working» on the case and obtaining no results, Provider started demanding a hefty payment for their «services», immediately starting to threaten a defamation /​libel lawsuit if I dare say anything to anybody about how terrible they were. This review should tell you how scared I am of those threats. It is amazing to note how amazingly engaged and effective Azran became once he determined he was owed money. All of sudden, I started getting emails from them, they responded almost immediately to anything I wrote them (with threats, but I guess that’s how they do business).
The story goes on, but not sure there is much value in more details. Lets just say that flawed advice was given several times, including telling me to «just wait» when a call to the IRS Customer Advocate clarified that this actually wouldn’t have worked and I in fact had to file another form to get reimbursed by the IRS.
Bottom line: Overpriced, a nightmare to work with and doesn’t deliver any results, at least not in my case.
UPDATE: Within 1 hour of posting this true and accurate review, Josh Azran emailed me with the following: «You have 24 hours to remove false and defamatory review, or I’m going to have to sue you. Don’t bother to respond unless it’s telling me that you intend to remove it.».
Since this review is accurate, it will not be removed. I just wanted to share this so that you have a good idea of who you are getting into bed with if you contract this company.
UPDATE 2: Provider has now responded to my review with their usual excuses and lies. So in order to set the record straight:
1. This review is not «heavily edited». It has been edited twice, in order to add these two updates, nothing else.
2. Provider claims I have problems with my English. I’ll leave it up to you to decide if this is true. When I spoke with Provider about his Chinese employee with broke English, he lashed out at me saying that I was «a foreigner and therefore the problem». I believe this provider is a xenophobe, if not worse.
3. Provider claims that I would «get advice over the phone and then send an email confirmation with a different narrative»: You don’t have to be a genius to understand that Provider is lying. There is no incentive for me as a client to do that, other than to confirm what his employee with broken English was trying to tell me.
There are other inaccuracies, red herrings and straight out lies in Provider’s response, but I simply don’t have the energy to continue this. Plus, I’m sure everything will come up in court once Provider follows up on their persistent promises to sue me if I tell the world about how they run their business…
UPDATE 3:
Provider has now changed their comment and is instead claiming that:
1. I was abusive and made racist comments: This is a lie.
2. When they requested payment I «refused and instead posted this review»: This is another lie. I paid them all the debts they claim I had last year, even though I have yet to receive the reimbursement from the IRS.
I guess we can look forward to UPDATE 4 after provider changes their story again.

Josh Azran has been doing my personal returns as well as the returns for both my companies. In addition to that, he has provided sound advice and direction to ensure that my companies are profitable. He is an incredible CPA and an even better person. I would and have recommend him to any body that is looking for an efficient and brilliant CPA.
