I’m super fussy when it comes to my skin and let me just say that I’ve tried EVERYTHING and EVERYONE! I have oily skin that’s very sensitive and I get blemishes more often than I would want. Also, a lot of products out there have so many unnecessary add-​ons that can dry out, irritate, or make your skin worse.
I found Dr. Alex through a referral and I have to say, Hallelujah! I came in and was greeted with a warm welcome. Dr. Alex took his time listening to my skincare concerns and was realistic about what to expect with treatments and products. I think the most important part of finding a great dermatologist is when they’re honest and up-​front about everything. You can go somewhere and they assure you magic, and then you’re left confused as to why you didn’t end up looking 45 years younger (because false reality sells, right?).
Dr. Alex mentioned the process of how I wanted to achieve younger and fresher looking skin and was upfront about what I needed to do. For that, I’m extremely grateful.
I waited to write this review until I was tested out his products and noted changes in my skin after a month. You can’t judge something after a week, so I documented my skin the past month while sticking to a regimen given to me by Dr. Alex. I use his amazing Brightening Cream, Hydrating Serum, Acne Max, and Triple Antioxidant Serum along with moisturizer, eye cream and sunscreen. Holy moly! The first few days I noticed my skin seemed healthier, but I was also trying to be realistic, maybe I was making it up? I wasn’t. My mother even asked if I did something to my face because it looked healthier and was glowing, I just said… Dr. Alex and his skincare products!
It’s been a month now and I went from wearing full coverage foundation EVERY DAY because of my skin insecurity to not even needing to but using a tinted moisturizer for my daily makeup routine. I am so grateful for Dr. Alex and his truly magical skincare products. If my skin looks this good after a month, I can’t wait to see the more long-​term results.
Also, I plan on doing some laser treatments with him, and will update my review when that happens.
In an honestly, don’t go anywhere else. Unless you want to unrealistic answers and unnecessary work done to your face. Dr. Alex has one thing most dermatologists don’t…honesty!
Save yourself, and don’t bother going anywhere else. I live in Westwood and drive to Encino, that’s how much I recommend Dr. Alex.

Amazing doctor who has helped me have clear skin again! Been dealing with acne flare ups the past year since turning 40. Finally stopped antibiotics before finding this doctor, who instead of writing me a prescription for more antibiotics, he instead helped me get clear skin with OUT medicine.
How? His acne max solution is a miracle in a bottle! Along with once a month blue light and laser peel for my skin.

I started going to Dr. Alex since 2012 for facial peels and botox. I would recommend everyone to him because he is patient, kind, funny and overall Professional. I would like to add the great deals such as his own products, he also has a fun Red Carpet evening event when all can be as glamorous as the stars of Beverly Hills! lol Alex is the best!

I reluctantly took my mother to Dr. Eshaghian for toe nail fungus treatment– not because I didn’t believe in him, but because I didn’t believe anything could treat it! Low and behold, my mother’s toe is cured! And no liver toxic oral medications were used! Dr. Eshaghian is friendly, honest, and very skilled in lasers. As a cosmetic injector professional, I trust his laser skills 100% and recommend him regularly to my patients!

I’ve gotten the blue light laster twice to help my acne! And it has made a big difference! I believe that my acne is hormonal so I get the laser done each month. And will taper off with time! Doctor Alex always takes his time explaining the options and different treatments. He seems to have all the best equipment! Very happy with the results so far!

I couldn’t be happier with the results of my IPL facial. My face looks so much better– devoid of the horrid age/​sun spots! Yay! Dr. Alex and his staff are so nice and professional. They are so welcoming and sweet and do everything they can to make you comfortable and happy. I even look forward to my appointments to see such nice people who work there. Their customer service is absolutely fantastic!

I’m so in love with my skin from using Dr. Alex’s brightening cream! I’m in the beauty industry, so I get my hands on stuff all the time. I would have to say this is the first time in a long time that I have consistently been getting compliments on my skin. I think with the combination of his brightening cream (for its high content of retinol) and the NuFACE Trinity PRO I’m back in love with my skin again. I’m in my early 40’s so the lat few years I have noticed an increase of dark spots and sagging skin :(

I have gone to AE Skin for a few Photofacial treatments and am happy with the results. This med spa is a very welcoming place to have a treatment done and Dr. Alex is great. All treatments are done by him and he is happy to explain both the treatment and aftercare to you. His staff is easygoing and knowledgeable about the treatments and are happy to answer any questions you may ask. This was my first experience with a med spa and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I found Dr. Alex on Unilocal for a skin care regiment and maybe some treatments for the near future. I saw he had wonderful reviews and was very intrigued by all the great feedback from his patients. He suggested some great skin care products for me and one of them was the triple antioxidant serum my ALL TIME FAVORITE! It makes my skin have this amazing glowing appearance and when I wear makeup my skin is just flawless. I just recently started doing a treatment called the Soft & Smooth and let me tell you it rejuvenates my skin, makes the appearance softer looking, and the texture looking good as new! I will most definitely be coming back for more treatments.
Also, Dr. Alex’s staff is so welcoming and informative. I have never been to an office where the staff looks so happy to be at work and REALLY enjoys what they do! See you soon guys.

AE skin is a must go to medical spa in the valley! Doctor Alex is just amazing at what he does, he gives you the results you search and high and low for. By making you feel completely warm and welcoming and answering all your questions and worries you feel right at home ! He has great products that I love to stock up on as well !
My favorite treatment to do is called a «soft n smooth» which is a Ipl following a micro laser peel ! My skin looks and feels so amazing after this !!! My dark spots and red spots really went away after doing these treatments !!

Dr Alex is the best doctor to go to for painless Botox. I was really afraid to do Botox because I had a bad experience with another medical spa where the nurse did the treatment. I was so pleased to know that the doctor injects the Botox himself and not a nurse. I didn’t want it to be noticeable and look like I have had too much done. He used a painless technique with cold air and I didn’t feel a thing. I saw results in a few days and it was perfect. I will never go anywhere else for Botox.
He was very knowledgeable and put me on a skincare regimen that I absolutely love. His brightening cream improved my acne and the scars. He has free valet parking and consultations, what’s not to love about that! Dr Alex talked to me about various treatments and I ended up doing an IPL laser treatment at my next visit. He also does ultherapy and Voluma which are both treatments I would like to try in the future. He is so competent and knowledgeable about skin and I feel very comfortable with him. Extremely Nice Doctor & Staff. This was my 1^st visit here, everyone was very attentive & caring. Dr. Alex spent a lot of time talking with me etc. & most importantly his work is excellent. His kind & caring bedside manner was very much appreciated. Office location is great, parking is easy! + they validate parking!

Dr. Alex is great and has an awesome staff! Erica is so a-​tentative and informative. She is knowledgable and mirrors the image of this business as a whole. Karla always keeps a smile on her face and is great in the reception area. The products are affordable and effective. I just got a chemical peel and I can not wait to see the results.

I suffered from a broken capillary under my right eye from many years of sun exposure without any protection and I never found a good doctor that could help me with this condition.
Finally I met Dr. Alex and his treatments (two appointments in total) have helped me tremendously and I’ve already seen results which I’m very happy with. I no longer have a red line on my face and I feel great! Everyone at AE Skin is very friendly, from the front desk to the doctor’s assistant. I never had a problem with the appointment times, they are always punctual and prepare you beforehand for the treatment you’re about to get. Before my treatment, they walked me through all steps and necessary requirements in order to get the best results.
I now trust Dr. Alex for any concerns or treatments regarding my skin. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a solution to their skin problems. He likes to take care of his clientele and will guide you through the entire process (and explain everything!!) with before and after photos to show you the results/​improvements.
One last thing, I really love the products they provide! I have the Tinted Elta MD skincare which I use as a sunscreen and foundation and it works wonders for my face!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Alex for several months now and so happy to have found his office. I initially went in for just an IPL facial, but have had other treatments done since then. On my first visit, I got the IPL and a peel. Wow! What a difference in the appearance of my skin. Friends didn’t know what I had done but kept telling me how good my skin looked. I was instantly hooked.
Since then I have continued to get my IPL laser treatments, but have also gotten skin tightening treatments and Ultherapy under my eyes. Best decision I have ever made. My skin looks better now than it has in years. Literally. My skin is tighter and the dark circles under my eyes have almost completely vanished. I truly didn’t expect to see this much of a difference but I did! I’m always getting compliments on how relaxed I looked and how good my skin looks. It’s great!
Another thing I love is that at every visit they take pictures of me so I can see the before and after. It’s wonderful because you can truly see the improvements that way. The people in the office are also great. Dr. Alex and all of his assistants always make me feel very welcomed and at ease. I will be a patient for life.

I was referred to Dr. Alex by my daughter. I have neglected my skin for many years. The IPL facials and brightening cream have truly changed my life. My skin has never looked better. It has been the biggest ego boost as well because people are constantly telling me how young I look.
I don’t have a lot of money to spend and with the amazing deals and monthly specials at AE Skin, I have managed to take back a good 10 years of my life. Or at least look like I got 10 years back.
Dr. Alex is very compassionate and patient. He explains everything before he starts. He makes you feel like you’re part of the family or that your old friends. When you walk in he remembers things from your life or your kids, it’s just a very personal experience.
The staff at AE Skin are very courteous and charming. I tend to forget appointments and they will gladly email, or call just to remind you. The girls are so sweet and just like Dr. Alex they make you feel right at home.

Amazing customer service and customer follow up. I’ve never been to a business that treats their customers in this way.
My first treatment with AE’s IPL was life-​changing. My rosacea was gone, my skin tone improved and the rosacea acne disappeared the minute the dead skin came off.
My second treatment, the results were not as great, I think, because, after my IPL with an additional skin brightening laser, I was advised to purchase a product which was not good for my skin and made me break out.
Because of the excellent follow up of AE, I was able to take a follow up survey they sent through email in which I was given the opportunity to express my dissapointment.
Within a short time, I received a call from one of the nurses at AE, she offered that I come back so they can make it right. They did not make me feel bad about my complaint and they quickly remedied the problem.
The texture of my skin is now on the mend and slowly turning back into the incredible state it was in after the first IPL. Regardless of all else, my Rosacea redness is gone. GONE! As are the majority of the dark skin marks that were noticeable on my face. The others have definitely lightened.
Please know that not all laser treatment centers have an actual doctor perform the treatments. I feel i’m in very safe hands at AE due to the fact that the Doctor is always there to perform and supervise closely. That, and his capable and friendly staff, makes this the only laser treatment center that I trust with my face.
I plan on purchasing an IPL series for my father, as I believe this center and their treatments will help his severe Rosacea condition improve greatly, if not cure him fully.

I purchased a Groupon for Botox which already makes me nervous to start. I have been getting Botox off and on for 10 years and have never gotten a deal so to speak.
I liked Dr. Alex. He is warm and personable. I liked his front desk staff. Friendly and beautiful skin. The facility is clean.
What I’m not liking is the feeling that my Botox is not working. I have so much movement after ten days. This has never happened before. Dr. Alex offered me a complimentary touch up. While I have not gotten the cosmetic result I desired, I am VERY HAPPY with the Doctor himself and how incredibly responsive and polite he is. I would give him 5 stars for that.
The office was responsive to every one of my emails. My Botox is looking good. I will review the IPL treatment once I get it done.
I’m not happy with the results of my first IPL treatment. If you are considering it, it’s important to know (which I did not know) that the treatment itself can cause MORE broken capillaries. I have a whole slew of new ones along my cheeks and around my nostrils. I really had no intention of purchasing a series, I did purchase one more treatment as I’m hoping to get rid of these capillaries. I hate the result. Yes I signed all the paperwork, but the Dr should consider mentioning this in person.
The Doctor has gone above and beyond to be sure that I have a positive result and for that he gets five stars.

Alex and his staff are truly over-​accommodating and great at what they do! I bought a series of 3 IPLs from Groupon and I have been going back for multiple procedures ever since, for about a year now. I have seen definite improvements in my skin including the sun damage spots disappearing and also my skin is tighter.
Alex was my first and only Botox doctor and he was very good to let me know it was OK and to not be nervous. He did a great job and my Botox has lasted well over 3 months. And now I am hooked!
I also use his Brightening Cream, and Exfoliating Serum (which I also use on my back acne) with the medical grade stuff all included for tightening and brightening. No need to do over the counter or department store products because they are just a waste of time. In my opinion, these things should be done by medically trained professionals. I splurge because at the end of the day, if I buy a million products (and I have) that just claim to make you look younger it’s really a waste of money and you end up paying the same amount for medical spa products and services anyway because those other products don’t work. They are truly professionals at AE Skin. I trust them with all my beauty needs.

Thank you Dr. Alex for making my IPL facials a breeze. Never have I been to a doctor’s office and was seen on-​time for every single visit. Though Dr. Alex is booked up for weeks due to popularity (MUST book your appointments in advance), I have to commend him getting me in and out within 30 min. The facials are painless and Dr Alex is always there if/​when you have concerns.
I also bought one of the whitening creams from Dr Alex, which I liked. I feel that it made my complexion brighter in addition to the IPL facials.
All in all, I’ve always appreciated the superb service Dr Alex and his staff have provided for me on my 4 IPL facials. They have always treated me with kind, prompt and courteous service. My skin looks brighter and more even! I will definitely be coming back again! Parking validated on a parking structure (next door).
