We have a separate Puppy Daycare Yard. Dogs over 20 wks play in the larger yard with an acre of artificial turf. Shade Sails to keep cool on the hottest days. Splash pools. A sand pit in the shape of a bone.

Windsor Castle and London Bridge. Specially constructed wooden play structures for your dog to play in and on.

Each dog is temperament tested for aggression and reactivity. This ensures that your dog only mixes with nice dogs.

We have highly trained staff and the highest staff to dog ratio of any other Facility in the area

Group Classes and Private Training available, with one of the highest qualified and experienced Positive Reinforcement Trainers in North County.

Boarding available for Daycare dogs who visit once week or more.

History

Established in 2014.

Samantha and Jon Mears are originally from London, England.

They moved to Southern California in 2006 where they established Samantha Mears Dog Training & Pet Sitting.

Samantha managed the Training side and Jon Managed the Pet Sitting side. They quickly began to make a name for themselves as two of the most sought after Pet Professionals in the area.

Spending so much time providing expert care for other peoples’ pets, they experienced severe frustration whenever they wanted to visit London and had to leave their dog Murphy. They were deeply dissatisfied with the Daycare, Boarding and Training Facilities in the area. They decided to make it their mission to introduce a premier facility in Encinitas for discerning dogs and their owners.

Woofingham Palace was created to fulfill the wish list of everything they wanted in a Daycare Facility for Murphy, with the personal service they felt every owner deserved.

Samantha M.

Business Owner

Samantha is a Positive Reinforcement Trainer and Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT KA) She passed the CPDT KA exam with Distinction.

The CPDT Examination is the only formal dog training qualification available in the USA. Though there are millions of people who call themselves Dog Trainers, less than 2700 of them have taken and passed the CPDT exam.

To be able to sit this exam the Dog Trainer has to have spent 300 hours teaching Dog Training Classes or in Home Training. They also need a written referral from a Vet recommending them as a Dog Trainer. The exam itself lasts 4 hours and has 400 questions.

She is also a professional Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers APDT and a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator

She regularly attends Lectures and Educational Seminars and has studied with some of the leading Dog Trainers and Dog Behaviorists in the world, in order to always be completely up to date on the latest ideas and methods related to Dog Training.
