Woodmasters Workshop

Got Tims name from nextdoor app and called several people. Tim did an amazing job with a coffee table that is a good piece of furniture but completely beat up over the years. My kids had done every craft known to mankind on it and left the evidence. For half the price of other bids, he did a beautiful job. We are very pleased and wouldn’t hesitate to refer or use again. Nice guy too!

Tim has done two jobs for us. First, he came over and helped us repair some built-​in bookcases that had been damaged in a rouge hJedi lightsaber attack. There were MANY dents and dings and he polished it up and made it look 100x better.
Next, he refinished an antique table I got on Craigslist. I thought about doing it myself and am SO GLAD I DIDN’T! Tim did a great job and saved me lots of time and angst. He even bleached the wood to get it the color I wanted. I love it now!

My husband and I received an antique rocking chair from his parents that had been passed down from generation to generation and was really showing some wear. Our plan was for it to go into our baby’s nursery which had all espresso/​black furniture. The chair was originally a walnut color and not only needed to be refinished but also needed to be stained darker to more closely match the nursery furniture. I dropped the chair off and sent pictures of our nursery furniture and two weeks later picked up a great looking piece of furniture! It looked almost new and although the chair wasn’t turned black to match the furniture, it was given a deeper brown tone that blends in well. The back and seat of the chair are wicker and I was worried that they wouldn’t stain properly but everything looks great!

I am so impressed with the work done on a cabinet I brought in to be refinished. The cabinet had to be completely redone. Tim was so great to work with, he is very busy so be patient it is worth the wait. The price was well worth it because of the work that was done. I highly recommend this business

Tim was great! A-​1 communication, reliable, accommodating and great work. I had an oak side table that had water stains. He repaired, lacquered it with a water resistant spray finish, some minor touch up to black dining table and chairs. Left an Oz polish cleaner. Cost $ 350.

Highly recommended! Tim at Woodmasters Workshop could not have been more helpful. I had some wood that I had tried to paint and stain myself, but couldn’t quite get the finish I wanted. Even though Tim could obviously have finished the work for me, he could see I was close with my attempt, and very generously explained and showed me how I could do finish the project myself. I’ll definitely return to Tim for any and all woodworking needs!

So we took a chair in with a broken leg. It seemed to be fixed well. It broke at the same spot in a month we called and told them and they said bring it in. Ive been calling them to pick it up now for three ddays and leaving voicemails each day but they have yet to call back.

Tim, does an excellent job he refinished both an old stained coffee table and our fireplace mantel. Then when we hired a cabinet maker to dogma built in for us found that he uses Tim at Woodmasters to do all his staining. Job came out grat. We would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to our friends.

My home as a beautiful oak and glass front entry door that was in need of some attention. Over the years I have tried re-​varnishing the door several times in an effort to protect it from sun and moisture. Unfortunately, this process has not held up well, and as left my door looking weathered and rough.
We used Tim a few years ago for a small refinishing project on a wood rocking chair (he did a fantastic job) and decided to speak to him about the front door. He came out to my house to troubleshoot and discus the options. We decided to completely strip the door down to bare wood and restain and protect with a very high end product. Essentially, this was a 5-​day process.
On day 1, Tim arrived promptly in the am with three helpers. They removed the door and completely stripped and sanded it down to bare wood (a process which took several hours). They then applied a first coat of stain/​color and rehung the door.
On days 2 thru 5, Tim arrived each morning to apply an additional coat of stain/​color/​protectant. This took about and hour each day and then the door needed to remain ajar until late afternoon/​early evening. Tim took the time each day to make sure my wife and I were happy with how the job was progressing, and made modifications to get the desired color.
Through the whole process Tim was prompt, patient and professional. He is a true craftsman and takes pride in the job and finished results. In my opinion, Tim should be your first and only call when it comes to any wood refinishing project you may have.

We have a very expensive coffee table we bought years ago that was in need of being refinished. Having never had furniture refinished and being generally skeptical of Unilocal reviews, I was nervous about handing over our coffee table to anyone. But after doing a lot of research, I came to the conclusion that Tim was our best bet. All I can say is that every good review (I’m not sure there are even any negative ones) on him is accurate. We love our refinished coffee table even more than when we bought it. He did an amazing job. It is absolutely gorgeous. Will it hold up? Only time will tell. But it’s such a high quality job that I have a hard time believing it won’t last. I would not hesitate to have him do any refinishing work in the future.

Our expensive oak front entry door was deplorable due to the years and the sun. We looked for someone who could help. Tim did everything I asked and more and made it his personal best. Tim’s work surpassed my high expectations in refinishing my front door. Bill W

I had Tim over to look at some dining room chairs that needed rebuilding (they were old and wobbly, but I love them), and two antique hutches that needed refinishing. He took them and refinished them and delivered them back in a short amount of time. His work is impeccable, his pricing more than fair and it left me wondering why I waited so long to have the work done. I would recommend Tim and Woodmasters to anyone.

Tim did a great job on our table. We have had a number of friends and family over to share a meal around the table and everyone can’t believe it is the same table. Tim matched the table perfectly with the new chairs we had purchased to replace the old chairs. We would recommend your services without hesitation.

We were very pleased wtih Tiim (Woodmasters) who did a complete refinishing of an older wood dinning room set and hutch. It was an easy choice, Tim definately enjoys and appreciates the beauthy and elegance of wood. Tim helped us select a new stain that matched our wood flooring as well as other pieces of furniture in the dinning area. We were impressed with his shop. Finally, when he delivered the furniture, he brought along his colored pens and touched all the nicks and scrapes from the rest of the furniture in our dinning room area. The dinning room looks great and we get many compliments and recommend Woodmasters to all our friends.

Excellent! Tim refinished our kitchen cabinets perfectly and we just had him back to do our bath cabinets. Same excellent result. Not only does he do great work, but (as important) he is intelligent, pleasant, on time and neat.

We had Tim restore an old armoire that was thought to be from the 1700’s. He did a beautiful job and I love how it looks! Where there was once globs of putty it looks like original woodwork! Amazing job! And, he picks up and delivers too! We are very pleased with the product and the service.

He is an absolute gentleman; always professional, courteous, and truly a master of his trade. In fact he has even pulled off a few miracles for us!
