Warren Window Washing and Odd Jobs

I had the same experience as everyone else! :(:(
I purchased what seemed to be a good deal on Groupon. I booked a apt with Warren window washing in January of 2015 to receive a window washing service. The day of the appointment was a No Show and he had told me that I must have booked for a different day. We rescheduled. The next appointment I was sick and had to reschedule. When he did get here, (Febuary now) he told me he need assistance with my two story Windows. Two story Windows. He came back, March now with assistance to tell me they both were not able to complete the task and gave me a story about how He is loosing money on Groupon, it is closing his business down. I got a refund a purchased a new window washing deal with another company.

Ross did a fanatastic job on our windows. They have never looked so clean! I will definitely call him again! He was a pleasure to work with!

Horrible service. He never picks up the phone and doesn’t show up at the time of the appointment. Doesn’t call back after leaving multiple voice mails. Save your money and chose somebody else

Like a similar poster on this site, I believe this guy is somehow gaming the social media vouchers such as Living Social as a scam. I would avoid this contractor at all costs as I’m fairly certain something unethical is going on or it’s also quite possible that this guy may just be a flake. Here is what happened to me:
(1) We originally scheduled an appointment on his site over a month ago (Living Social deal). The day of the appointment we had a time slot of 1 – 4 and he was a no-​show. Around 3pm (2 hrs late already) he called and said a prior appointment ran late and he wouldn’t make it. I asked to reschedule and he said he would have to call me back. He never did.
(2) I still have the Living Social voucher so I figure let’s give it another try. I went through his website scheduling again and set up another appointment. This time we had a 7 am appointment. Again, another no-​show. Then I see that he sent me a text (not even a phone call!) and said that he had been in a car accident and that he was taking his car into the repair shop and wouldn’t make it (which I believe was not true). I texted him back and said what about the next day… no response. Finally I had enough and went to Living Social and requested a refund for what I paid.
This certainly is no way to run a real business which this contractor most certainly isn’t. Please go elsewhere and find a legitimate contractor for your window washing.

I don’t think that I have ever been treated as rudely by a contractor ever in my life. I think his business model is to piss off the customer and hope the will pay you more money. I consider this guy committing fraud through a living social offer.
Let go through the list of what he has or has done in 24 before my appt:
— The deal was for B. Interior and Exterior Window Cleaning for 20 Windows and Screen Brushing for 10 Windows.
— Does call to follow-​up for appt
— The appt was made through his website for a 3 hour window from 10 – 1. When he call to tell me he will be a hours late at 12:57. He tells me its a 4 hour window. I asked him why he couldn’t have could a little earlier he is rude and says he’s not late I just need to expect this.
— He shows up at 3:00. No apology.
— Tells me I have twice as many windows as I counted and tell me he charges for every top and bottom window. I ask him if this is the industry standard and he tells me it’s his standard. I have standard condo windows. He tells me I misunderstood the deal and that I can get a refund if I don’t like it.
— Every negative review this man is correct and save yourself the aggravation and don’t call him.

I had Warren Window Washing scheduled to come to my home over a week ago to wash windows. I had my house all ready and window coverings moved. They never showed up, called, or e-​mailed back. I consider them a fraud and rude. I called several times the day of my appointment as I had wasted my time waiting for them for hours. The message machine was «full». I suspect I was not the only one who wasted my time and efforts. I also e-​mailed them several times without any response. Read on! I’m not the only one with these problems. Don’t waste your time or effort with this fraud company. Buyer Beware!

If there was a no star rating, this company would get it from me. I booked weeks in advance and waited past the 3 hour window for my appointment. NO CALL NO SHOW! I’m calling Living Social for a refund.

Called like the Groupon instructed to do. He told me to schedule appointment online, which I did. Got the email confirmation. NO SHOW, NO CALL! Tried to call, shocker his voice mail box is full. Left a text and no response. Luckily Groupon is amazing and refunded me where I promptly purchased one from Window Genie for the same price. They have a 5 star Unilocal review. Learned my lesson to look at reviews BEFORE purchasing Groupons or other deals!

Would Not recommend. Purchased a voucher and made an appointment. No show, no follow-​up. Will be contacting Amazon for a refund.

Save yourself money and stress… stay away!
Purchased an Amazon Local voucher for a gutter cleaning. Made an appointment online and had to call myself for confirmation he was actually coming.
Day of, Ross showed for a few minutes and then claimed he couldn’t do the job without his assistant and would need to reschedule. Day of the new appointment, he text and said his worker never showed and he’d need to reschedule again. Ross never responded to requests to make a new appointment; I called Amazon, made an official complaint and got a refund.

Let me begin by saying that I am a big fan of small business and I do my best to support my community. I purchased a deal thru Living Social and with exception to this company I have had wonderful results. I did read the fine print that said each pane of glass counts as a window, and you pay for inside and outside separately… an odd addition since 1 window has two panes on both sides of glass when purchased. I have had my windows washed every 6 months for years and NEVER had someone count windows like this, but my regular guy wasn’t available and I was having a party so I went with it. I made the appt over the phone and agreed upon a time of 10am… at no point was I given a «window» of arrival. I hadn’t received a confirmation call up to the day prior to my appt so I called to confirm, I was told yes my appt was at 10am and when hanging up I heard a quick or 11am… weird again, but ok… he would arrive between 10&11. I had a lot of stuff to do for my party so I arranged for my family to be home for the appt. At 11:30 I get a text from my family that the guy still hadn’t shown up, odd… and at the same time I get a call from Warren saying that he is in Fallbrook and had no cell service and would be there in 30 minutes (at noon) OK I said, still maintaining composure, I asked him to call when he arrived so I can have someone let him in. I get a call at 12:30 from Warren saying that he was there and needed to do a window count. This is now 2.5 hours late. I then had to scramble to find someone to let him in since this is now over 2 hours past my appt time. When he called me back with the info that I have a total of 38 windows in my house without one apology or offer to make things right for being so late I was at the end of my rope. I asked him to leave my property and I would be requesting a refund. Now… most people use Living Social to build a business… you would think that Warren would leave our exchange alone or maybe offer an apology but no… I received a harassing text from him stating that I was rude and wasted his time and gas and that he was only 30 minutes late. Well Warren, in my world being on time is very important… see I am in sales too and if I am late well, my customers get upset. And let me remind you that I wasn’t given a «window» of arrival, but an appointment time of 10am. Even if he showed up at 11:30 he would have been late, but to show up at 12:30 with an attitude and no apology well that is just too much. This is a shady company that uses ridiculous sales tactics that will never grow a business to success. And Warren should remember that a happy customer may tell 1 or 2 people about their experience… but an unhappy customer will tell EVERYONE. Do not use his company, the discount is not that good… my normal guy charges me 150 for inside and outside plus screens. By awareness shady tactics the same service would have cost me over $ 200 at the discounted price. If I could give negative stars I would.

Super professional, good quality work and great demeanor. I will definitely use them again to wash my windows or do odd jobs. I only wish I knew they did odd jobs before they came to clean my windows or I would have had them do some then. Great price for great work. Very satisfied! Love my clean windows!

Ross and team did a great job on the outside windows of my house. They were efficient and thorough. Pricing is reasonable and I intend to call them again.

Absolutely wonderful service, from the flexibility with scheduling to the professionalism in my home. I bought the Living Social deal, and yes realized when they came out the cost was per pane not per window. I compared with others and that is consistent with everyone in this industry. The three professional guys took time to clean all the messes my large dogs made on the windows, deep cleaned the tracks and never tried to up-​sell me. The guys took their time and the results are impressive. Now that they left I wish they would have let me know the price to complete all of the windows in our entire home. I will have them back very soon but will go directly through them and ask for their specials.

Bait and switch!
Do not use this company! We purchased through Livingsocial, what you buy is NOT what you get. Upon arrival he more than doubled the price. Continually stating that’s the «industry standard.» We have 13 windows on our one story home, we were told that would count as 32 windows! We have had our windows cleaned before and never had an issue. Livingsocial is supposed to be a good deal, Warren window if far from a good deal, you will pay more than the average fee for his service.

Warren Window Washing did an outstanding job with all 15 windows in my house! I never knew my windows could be so clear! Thank you Ross for the great service.
He even fix our sliding door so I can now use it and did a great job re-​screening one of our windows are dog jumped out of! I will be using Warren Window Washing again for my windows and odd jobs around the house!

Ross did an amazing job on my windows and screens, he even repaired my screens that were damaged! My windows never looked better! Thank you! I will definitely be using this company for all future window cleaning!!!

Devious business practices!
I purchased a Livingsocial voucher for Warren Window Cleaning for 20 windows and screen brushing for 10. When I called to schedule an appointment, Warren told me he counts each window as two because one part is fixed and one part is not, in effect doubling the cost.
In what universe is one window counted as two?!? I can even accept this IF IT WERE DISCLOSED in the LivingSocial text. The company purposefully left out these details in the Living Social text to create the appearance of a good deal, when Warren was purposefully trying to deceive purchasers by ommision.
Beware of what you are actually purchasing.
I am filiing a fraud complaint with my credit card company.

I am not a fan of giving negative reviews, but I thought I should post this to give people a heads up. Unfortunately my experience with Warren Window Washing did not go well. There was confusion in scheduling my appointment, I wasn’t informed about the time frame they would come until I asked the day of and then I ended up waiting 3 ½ hours on my day off only to end up canceling the appointment because I couldn’t wait any longer. If he had tried to make up for the inconvenience he cause me, maybe I wouldn’t be writing this review, but there were no such efforts made. Thought I would pass this along.

Wow! Ross Warren is meticulous, hardworking, and a pleasure to deal with. My windows look amazing — he also pointed out that when my condo was painted, streaks of paint got on two of my screens, and replaced them for me. He spent extra time scraping paint off three of my windows, and his charge for doing those extras was minimal. And, above and beyond, he scraped the hard water buildup off my glass shower doors that I have been trying to get rid of in numerous unsuccessful ways — again for minimal charge. He stayed later than planned to do those extra tasks, and was very gracious about it. Super pleasant and easy to talk to — I highly recommend him and his services. I’ll be calling him again!
