Tree of Life For Healthy Birthing and Parenting

Susan is absolutely amazing. She is such a kind and compassionate caregiver. I feel so blessed to have had her as my midwife. Susan is extremely knowledgeable and has so much experience, it is easy to feel at ease with her. We spoke with several midwifes before deciding on Susan. All through the prenatal care, Susan was great, we never felt rushed along in any of our visits, we had tons of time to ask questions, and chat. We aslo took birthing classes through her as well that were wonderful, they also really helped both of us prepare for birth and after birth. When it came time to have my baby, I felt very at ease at Tree of Life. With a lot of hard work, and Susan by my side, I was able to have a unmediated natural birth, and we got our precious little girl. If I had used a regular doctor, I have no doubt I would have had a cesarean section due to the amount of time that lapsed between my water breaking and my length of labor. I am thankful for Susan for helping me achieve what my body was made to do, for helping momma, papa, and my sweet baby through the transcendental process. We are so grateful.
About Tree of Life Birth Center:
The birthing suites are gorgeous and peaceful, there’s birthing tubs, and showers. There are 100’s of books, she allows you to check them out so you can read a book or two about parenting, birth, life with a newborn, breastfeeding… all between your checkups (my favorite part). There is also a large community room, where classes are held (there’s a schedule on the website). She has so many resources she can guide you to before and after giving birth, and some professionals even meet at certain times at the birthing center.
Financial Aspect:
I really liked how Tree of Life doesn’t nickle and dime the people she provides her services to. Everything is up front in her cost sheet. We toured some other places that had fees for simple things you would expect to be included in delivering a baby.
