History

Established in 1972.

Diane and Ed Greene opened their first frame shop in the downstairs store of the apartment building they were living in. This was in North Bergen, NJ, a suburb of NYC. They soon moved to the vibrant community of Hoboken, NJ and quickly established themselves as the ‘go to’ people for custom framing. In 1990 another location was opened on Bleecker St. in New York’s historic Greenwhich Village. The Greene’s specialized in antiquarian prints: natural history pieces and maps. Their business prospered, but with time, things change, and Diane and Ed moved lock, stock, and barrell to the beautiful beach community of Solana Beach, Ca. where they continue their trade as custom picture framers.
