I called in today and talked with Bill. He was so kind and helpful, he asked me to send him some pictures of the bug that’s been infesting our yard. Once he saw what the bug was he let me know what I should do. He didn’t lie and say he could come out to kill them he was so honest and told me that he wouldn’t waste my money. All I need to do is vacuum the ones in the window and they will die off in a day or two. I appreciate an honest company and a kind person such as Bill. When I need an extermination done in the summer I will definitely call this company.

Been using Pinpoint now for at least 5 years, and they truly are awesome. They are a family run business, and really know bugs and how to effectively get rid of them.
We no longer are plagued by ants, and spiders are gone too. Like everyone in the San Diego area, rats outdoors can be a problem, but once they started treatment the rats are gone.
Try them, you won’t be disappointed!

If you have any pest problem pick up the phone and call pinpoint immediately. They are understanding and professional. we had bird mites and it was a complete nightmare. They handled it quickly and with compassion.

Why try other company’s when PinPoint is the BEST. We used to be with another National Firm but they always had problems with getting rid of ants or bees. We have been with them for over 12 years. This week we had a scare with Bees infesting our eaves. I made a call and they came out. Within 2 hours most was gone and by the next day all was clean and gone. This a Family business and everyone we have come in contact with is a true professional. They also take time to tell you what they will do and then explain what the outcome will be. there costs are also better than competition. Sooooo call PinPoint

I give them 10 our of 5 and it didn’t cost me a dime! Hats off to this professional, humble father/​son team. We had a pest problem and instead of just making an appt and charging me a couple hundred dollars of service, Steve asked me lots of questions and guided me on some very helpful information and steps to rectify the problem on our own. What company tells you how to save money and not hire them??? PinPoint does! I did not need to use their services but when I do need to I will call them FIRST! When I hear about a friend or neighbor that needs pest control I will tell them (SHOUT to them) to call PinPoint! Whatever you do stop looking and researching for the best place & CALL them! I did all of the work for you!

When I first read the reviews, I thought to myself «they can’t be that good» well needless to say I am so impressed, all these 5 star reviews are no exaggeration they are the absolute truth. I inquired online yesterday and last night Bill responded via email with a lot more information than I expected. He is very knowledgeable and it was clear he cares more about helping the customer than the financial aspect of it. I had the pleasure of speaking with him today and I have to say, he was so easy to talk to, very friendly and I am absolutely sold on this company. As I previously mentioned I contacted them yesterday and by this morning they were at my house taking care of my ant problem.

Pinpoint is great. We’ve used them twice.
The first time was within a week of moving into our current home in San Marcos. The house was OVERRUN with ants. We sprayed Raid and put out ant poison but those solutions didn’t even touch the ant problem we were having. It was truly disgusting. So Pinpoint came out and sprayed for a very reasonable price and I didn’t see another ant inside the house for 2 yrs. Which brings us to the second time they came out to spray just recently.
I would expect to spray about once a year for ants, usually in summer, but in our case the first treatment seemed to do the trick for 2 years.

Pinpoint helped us with a bird mite problem in our home. They were very thorough, professional and helpful. They were really informative and able to come out the same day. Brian was early to the appointment which is rare for companies these days — I thought it was going to be one of those situations where they say sometime between 11 – 1 and show up at 12:59.

Pinpoint Pest Controls is one of the most upstanding and professional I have had the pleasure of working with. I can only wish that more companies were run like Pinpoint Pest Control. It is unfortunate that it took me so long to get in touch with them as I was suffering from insanely itchy bites for over 2 months. After contacting them, my problem went away almost immediately. I will trust Pinpoint for all my future services.
I talked to Bill extensively on the phone. He is one of the most friendly and helpful people I have ever talked to on the phone. And even more surprisingly to me was that he was willing to talk to me just out of his passion for his profession and not because he wanted to make money out of my call. I basically felt as if I was talking to an old family friend who was giving me advice on a problem I had. He carefully listened to my problem, asked some pointed questions, and gave me his likely diagnosis (bird mites). He then went on to describe in great detail why he thought this was my issue and the measure I should take to solve my problem. He even took the time to look up my house on google maps to suggest places that I should be looking for bird nests. Instead of recommending a treatment initially, he actually suggested that I first try to handle the problem on my own. But given my lack of height or a ladder and the fact that I was suffering from bites for over 8 weeks, I wanted to have this problem dealt with sooner rather than later. Bill was able to give me an appointment with his son Brian the very next day.
Brian was as much of a pleasure to work with as Bill. Although Brian had an understanding of our problem before arriving, he still took the time to thoroughly listen to my story and consider other potential sources of my bug bites. I felt that he really took the time to understand what the problem was and make sure that the service they were providing would address that problem. I had actually had another company come and spray my house just the week before. They listened to my story and went with me on thinking that I had spiders biting me (which Bill informed me was extremely unlikely). There was no thorough inspection of my house for any other potential sources for my bites. Brian took the time to throughly inspect all the rooms in my house as well as the perimeter. He was very patient about answering all of my questions –which I had a lot of. I felt that he also did a very thorough job spraying as I haven’t had any bites since they have been here. I’m also impress that they give a 30 day guarantee. No other company I called mentioned this to me and the previous company I had spray definitely did not have this policy. If we needed to get sprayed again it was our problem and going to come out of our pockets.
In summary, Pinpoint Pest Control is a company with the kind of people you would trust to help you with any kind of problem because you would be sure that if they didn’t have the solution themselves they would find one for you. They are friendly, honest, and competent. What more can you ask for?

Bill helped us over the phone, describing what we could do ourselves because in our situation, it would not be best for them to service our house («like taking sledgehammer to ants»). We will definitely recommend and use Pinpoint ourselves in the future if needed — local, knowledgeable, friendly, professional — thanks again!

This is a great local business. I worried I had a bed bug infestation and when I called Bill said to send over a picture of it. He then told me, thank goodness, it wasn’t bed bugs and what kind of bug it was and how to get rid of it. This is the sign of a true good local business! They talk you through it and don’t want to just start charging you for their services!
My husband and I will definitely be calling Pinpoint Pest Control for any pest control services for our Encinitas home. Thanks guys!

Was going crazy with ants (all kinds). This has been the worst year we’ve ever had in the over 30 years at this residence. A friend recommended Pinpoint and I’m so glad he did. They were super nice to talk to and get info from. Came out and sprayed the outside and little areas inside. Didn’t think the hundreds of ants we seem to have in the walls would be killed with the small amount of spraying inside (it’s not something you have to leave for or worry about), but got up this morning and there wasn’t an ant to be seen in kitchen, bath, on my desk or anywhwere else they’ve been for the past months. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing to get rid of bugs. They are professional and very nice to talk to. Talked with Dave and Steve and both were great! Hurray, no bugs!

I called several places for pest control service and this is the only place that returned my phone call. David was the gentleman that handled the phone call and was very knowledgeable about in intruders in my home. He set up a visit for the same week at an affordable price. I emailed Pinpoint Pest Control several times before and after they serviced my home and they were always very responsive (Steve was the person I corresponded with via email). I recommend Pinpoint for anyone in need of pest control.

I don’t know if it was the hot weather or what, but this was the worst year ever for ants! We found them in places that made no sense… like all the beds in the house! Could not even cook in the kitchen because they would appear out of nowhere and all of a sudden they were all over the chopping board, etc. We were being overrun. The Ants were waging war big time… and we were losing. Tried everything. Then decided to call the experts. I chose Pinpoint because they specialize in ants and boy they sure «know their enemy». We were fighting a losing battle for months. After Pinpoint came by, they were pretty much gone after 24 hours. Best money ever spent. Local family owned company, so much better than The Big Guys.

Found these guys in Unilocal,and am beyond impressed! Bill went completely above and beyond to diagnose a really tricky problem we had with a mite infestation.
He was honest, super helpful, and very fairly priced! He spent over an hour that he didn’t charge for just to double check things, really trying to solve the problem and make sure that there were no signs of mites after treatment.
Talking to bill you can tell he’s very analytical in his thought process which helps him get to the bottom of remedying a problem.
I am a loyal customer 4 life!

Turns out there was a communication flaw, whether it was the email or not, I do not know.
Steve was very helpful and said that he could resolve the problem. I look forward to the results, and I appreciate the turnaround from my call.
