Worst Dr experience ever. Was sent downstairs for X-rays & then when returned to lobby to finish appointment with Dr. Peppers, was forgotten had to wait another hour & when finally seen I was rushed. He spent less than 15 minutes with me & acted like he was in a huge rush. Eventually went to another Orthopedist for a second opinion as I felt like I was never really seen by him in the first place. So I had to pay twice for one diagnosis. Terrible.

Our family was extremely disappointed with Dr. Pepper’s care. My mother-in-law was assigned to him from Scripps Encinitas Hospital after a fall. He put her on bed rest for several weeks due to a broken pelvis. We requested several times to remove her from bedrest but he ignored our request. After several weeks of bed rest, her health began to decline significantly. We pleaded with Dr. Pepper to change the order but he continued to ignore us. In the end, my mother-in-law died of heart and lung problems. Our belief is that she was too sedentary due to the bedrest and other complications occured. We think she could’ve survived the fall if she was more mobile. In fact, she had a physical with her primary care doctor only a few months before her fall and she was reportedly in «great condition.» His apathy towards this case was disappointing. If you have been assigned this doctor through the hospital, it is best to go somewhere else where your input on your loved one’s care will be respected.

Yesterday, I had an appointment for a third opinion with Dr. Timothy Peppers. Dr. Peppers was referred to me by a client and I wasn’t sure what to expect. My past experiences haven’t been great with other orthopedics. From the moment I entered CORE Orthopaedics I felt at ease. Everyone seemed to be on top of their jobs, from the front desk, to X-ray and all the nursing staff. When Dr. Peppers entered the room I knew that he wasn’t your typical orthopedic. Dr. Peppers was very relaxed and didn’t seem like he was in a hurry, like other orthopedics I’ve been to. Dr. Peppers was the first doctor that actually showed me my MRI images and explained what it all meant. Dr. Peppers took the time with me, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with the options I had for my condition. I highly recommend Dr. Peppers!
