MDS Owners have called North San Diego County their home for over 30 years. We managed to «rough it» on the beautiful island of Maui for over a year, where our first child was born. Wanting to be close to family after the birth, we relocated back to the beachside town of Cardiff, where our second child was soon born, right up the hill from Swamis!

Brendan is the absolute best. He comes on time to my house and washes my car for an unbelievably low price and manages to clean out every single speck of dust or a small wrapper. He works on my car for a good hour and hour and a half which truly shows that he’s dedicated to his work and takes his time regardless of the pay. Highly recommend them if you’re looking to chill or work from home and want your car washed right on your driveway.

I’m new to the area and wanted to get my car detailed because I had an obnoxious stain on my passenger seat. I called yesterday and was able to get an appt this morning! Brendan came out, was on time and efficient. I pointed out the problematic seat and he was able to get more of the stain out than I even expected. I highly recommend their services!

I have a 7 year old and I’m not sure how she does it, but geez can she make a mess in my car. I have taken my car to have it detailed before where I sit for hours and when it’s done I’m not really sure if it looks that much better than a standard wash. So I was extremely happy to have someone who will not only come to me, but does such a great job that my car looked like it was brand new again. I loved it. And the price is phenomenal. Best value around!

OK review long over due. Had my F150 Detailed by Brendan about 3 weeks ago and the truck still looks great. FYI: I have owned the truck for approx 8 years and never had it detailed. It looks like a new truck, so now I am keeping it another few years! Booking was easy, and he even got me in at the last minute. Brendan came to my home, spent about 3 hours, and did a fantastic job. I have a dog that travels in the cab with me and the dog smell is gone. There has been two storms with plenty of rain for SD and the wax job has held up. I recommend Mobile Detailing Specialist 100%. They are a locally owned family business in Encinitas and I will definitely use them again.

They had a solid special running so the price was right. The fact that I could be at work and have them come to me was super convenient.

Absolutely excellent.
This is round two for these guys, and I was not disappointed.
My first time was for my Mini Clubman. The Mini was my «dog car.» One of my dogs (short hair and small body aside) is just an explosion of tiny blonde hairs. Suffice it say, the black interior of the Mini was basically salt and pepper. The car was pretty dirty to boot — which is kinda sad for a Clubby. Well, the work was perfect. While he apologized for not being able to get ALL the dog hair out, he really didn’t need to apologize — the work was impressive and my car felt almost new.
He just got done with car #2 — this time, my husband’s Ford Focus. My hubby barely drives, which means he largely ignores his car. It was FILTHY. The poor thing is low mileage and not really old, but it looked like it’s been living parked along a dirt road. And the inside was worse.
Brendan (I believe — terrible with names) just got done with the car and it looks AMAZING! Looks almost brand new. My husband will be thrilled with is «new» car.
Additionally they are very nice — friendly, prompt and considerate.
I’ve now added their number to my phone’s contact list — we will be using them again!

Incredible; The service, the work, the attitudes, all of it.
I purchased a Unilocal deal & didn’t make using It a priority– Until, of course, I saw it had been nearly a year since I purchased the deal & it expired in a couple days… At which point they didn’t have any openings that week but they scheduled it at the next available time & honored the coupon despite it being expired.
If that wasn’t enough, you should have seen my car. She had dirt in her veins. One could never tell now though. In fact, while going to lunch one day, the inside of the car looked different to the degree that one of my co-​workers asked when I had gotten a new vehicle.

I have used a couple of different mobile detailing places and I will say these guys are BY FAR the best! From the booking of the appointment, to the reminder phone call the day before, to the actual detail job, everything was great. When you find great customer service and great work quality in a business it makes you want to go back. And that’s what I plan on doing!

I had a great experience from making a reservation to getting my car sparking clean and spiffy! As another person already said, they honored my Livingsocial deal beyond the expiration date because they were so booked up. They called to confirm my appointment the day before and the detailer showed up exactly on time. He did a phenomenal job on my car, which was in dirty, sad shape. The aegean blue sparkles from afar! I was in a parking lot and I could see my shiny car from 3 aisles away! I will definitely give them repeat business!

These guys are awesome. Even though my LivingSocial deal had expired because they couldn’t fit me in on a Saturday until after the expiration date, they still honored the deal. That’s good business!
They arrived on time, the guy was really cool and I can’t believe they didn’t even have to use my water because they brought their own! He took great care and my car looked amazing in such a short amount of time. I will definitely be using them again!

They have amazing quality of service. They worked around my schedule and came to my conference and detailed my car. It was so convenient and I got so many compliments. It was I good that the manager of the resort came out and asked for their number so she can recommended them to get clients. It’s a family owned business and they are truly good at what they do.
