After seven years of being misdiagnosed with epilepsy, I came to Dr. Michael Lobatz as my treating neurologist. Not long after a frantic 911 call placed by my husband regarding a seizure I would not come out of, Dr. Lobatz made a brave discovery. A battery of tests were administered including video telemetry and I was found to be experiencing PNES !!! Every other neurologist I had gone to prior to him was satisfied with lumping me in with the 30% of people suffering from seizures without a direct cause. Dr. Lobatz thought outside the box and thanks to him I am now seizure free for over 10 years!!! He gave me my life back!!!

Dr. Lobatz saved my life. He found a brain tumor when I had been misdiagnosed. He is very thorough in his examination and testing.

Not a good doctor to see for brain trauma he’s too wrapped up in lawsuits and insurance claims to listen to the patients needs. Should be ashamed of him self

I was in severe, intense pain and Dr. Lobatz was wonderful! He got me an MRI and to pain management for an epideral steroid injection. In two days, 80% of the pain was gone and I was up and about again after a week of lying in bed with the worst pain imaginable. I was able to go to physical therapy and I am now on my feet again, walking almost pain free. A miracle worker, compassionate and very knowledgeable.

Don’t bother unless you have a open and shut case for a Traumatic Brain Injury as a result of an accident case. My attorney suggested this doctor. I didn’t realized these guys were working for money and not for the patient/​client. Drop the doctor/​attorney and finally got some professional help. Yes, I do have a Traumatic Brain Injury and finally won my case against the guy who hit me on the freeway.
