We are one of only a few nurseries in the country that carries about 1000 species of rare palm trees, cycads and tropical plants. Nursery size 2.5 acres. In business since 1977, Jungle Music is ione of leading specialty nurseries in the country. Phil, the owner who started this nursery, is past president of the International Palm Society, author and active in many other groups and garden societies. Expert assistance when you visit the nursery.

Business Owner

Phil is past president of both the International Palm Society and the Palm Society of Southern California. He’s a member of many botanical and garden groups and a well known author, lecturer and consultant on palm trees and cycads. His nursery, Jungle Music, began in San Diego in 1977 and in 1995 moved to Encinitas, California. Customers come from all over the country to visit nursery. Jungle Music has been voted by OnLineSanDiego as one of the top nurseries in the county. Incidentallly, Phil has also been an emergency room physician for 37 years.
