History

Established in 2013.

Illuminate Juice was born with the desire to inspire positive change and healthy living. We started as an organic, cold-​pressed juice delivery business in San Diego back in 2013 to eventually realize we were meant for so much more. It is our passion to inspire much more than just the benefits of juice. We realized there is more to inspiring and promoting health and wellness than just the food you eat, although that is a good part of it, there are other components that help make a person healthy and happy. At Illuminate Juice we are all about encouraging you to think about the health of, not only the body, but the mind and spirit as well. This is definitely my first choice for any juice place in San Diego, they use the freshest ingredients and seem to have a great balance of flavors and ingredients. Love the green juices, probably my favorite. The staff as well was very courteous, well informed and knowledgable, especially for the longer cleanses. Would HIGHLY recommend this place, best juices I’ve had in quite some time.

I just finished a three day cleanse a few weeks ago and still feel amazing! Over the past six months I have really gotten into juice and have tried many of the places in SD. Illuminate juice is my favorite! I like the variety of flavors in the signature cleanse! I really did my research before starting the cleanse and couldn’t be happier with my decision to do it through them. I heard a rumor that they might start coming to the Tuesday night PB farmer’s market and am super excited so I can get my juice fix for the week!

I love Rene and Sasha’s knowledge about their craft and how they always have a suggestion to go with your current mood/​situation (wellness shots are great for hangovers, people). They’re entrepreneurial spirit is evident in their high level of customer service and attention to detail that you can’t get with most juice companies. Highly recommended!

I have been looking to do a juice cleanse for a very long time. After doing some research I decided to go with Illuminate Juice 3 day cleanse. The all organic ingredients & made fresh to order won me over. The juices were delivered to my house the night before I started, which was so awesome and convenient. The juices all tasted amazing & I enjoyed each one of them. I have a very active job & am happy to say I was able to complete the full 3 day cleanse with no problem. The after effects of the cleanse are incredible! I feel amazing with so much energy & don’t feel heavy but instead feel light & clean. I love their saying «illuminate yourself from within» because it’s so true! My skin looks & feels awesome like I’ve been kissed by the sun & have a glow about me. The best part is the cravings for caffeine & junk food are gone & have been replaced with cravings for fresh veggies & fruits! I would highly recommend Illuminate Juice for a cleanse or just for their delicious juices! Both Rene & Sasha are amazing & were with me every step of the way, always texting me with support & encouragement. I’m so happy & satisfied with the choice I made with Illuminate Juice. Oh, how life tends to throw in a million deviations from our intended paths. Nothing like a good juice cleanse to get back on track, to feel good and healthy and clear headed again! I love the free delivery, and I love how the juices aren’t too sweet. It tastes good, in a nutritious sort of way and not a dessert drink sort of way. The girls were nice, and even though they made a small mistake in my order, they fixed it right away and were very good about it.

Just started my 3 day cleanse today! I love that i got my juice 1st thing this morning delivered right to my door! I’m on my 2nd juice of the day & they taste great! They have a nice earthy taste so don’t except sweet Jamba Juice style smoothies, this is the real deal. I thought the price was very reasonable too. There is no way I could have fit all those veggies in my fridge to do the juicing myself & the cost of organic veggies is pretty high. I feel like they did all the work for me for less than what I would have paid at the store. I will definitely refer my friends!

I have been a regular (weekly juice) customer since September of 2014! All of the flavors are so unique and very good! I have been sticking with most of the greens — my current favorites are the Rise and Ignite.
I’ve been challenged with my fair share of dieting and learning about what being healthy is for me — and I truly feel that this has helped me maintain a consistent energy balance. These have been a great nutritional supplement for me to help sustain an active lifestyle — while balancing a busy schedule. Exercise daily, cycle 2 – 3 times a week, work long hours so delivery services are an added bonus for me.
Yes, you can juice yourself. Yes, if you naturally eat good — raw/​organic foods — you will feel better and have better energy. But they have put together some amazing recipes and convenience! I would highly recommend that you try yourself!

Just wanted to give props to Illuminate Juice! I’ve never done a juice cleanse before, so honestly i was scared. But with Rene’s help and Illuminate’s delicious juices it was sooooooooooo easy. And now I seriously understand why people juice, I felt so healthy afterwards! I am a green juice fanatic! So when I heard about this new juice company literally in my backyard I was so stocked to give it a try! First and foremost Rene the owner is just fantastic to do business with. She was kind and very responsive answering my questions. I did a two day cleanse with a total of 12 juices/​6 per day. Delivery was on time and showed up right on my doorstep! Packaging was very nice. Started with the first juice Rise and it was delicious! Loving the first juice made me look forward to trying all the rest. However, to my dismay the remaining juices besides the last one Bliss were very hard to swallow. Super sweet I could not even finish them. It honestly tasted like I was drinking pure sugar especially the beet one. I’m curious to see the sugar content… couldn’t find the nutritional info on their website. I had to deduct one star for their bottle packaging. Every time I opened a juice it would spill all over me. Imagine me grabbing a juice to drink in the car on my way to work and it spilling all over my white tee… not so convenient :/​The juices are packed so tight to the very tip top of the bottle. Beet juice on my white tank was no bueno. So the remainder of my cleanse I had to open the juices over my kitchen sink. Maybe I had a bad batch… who knows? It really pains me to say I won’t be ordering from them again.

Loved these juices! Great local business and Rene is so knowledgable and answered all my questions during my cleanse. I would highly recommend and look forward to my next round :) double thumbs up and five stars no doubt. She makes everything fresh and would even do custom personalized juices if you have a specific preference to include more or less of an ingredient to fit each persons needs.

I love these juices! A cleanse is just hard to do but if you have a positive mind and excellent willpower combined with these juices — you can do it! I felt a huge burst of energy the next day. Definitely worth it!

I was a cleanse non-​believer before I did my first one day Illuminate juice cleanse. Enough people raved about how great they felt from just the one day, so I finally caved and gave it a try.
I was super skeptical going into it and worried I would feel hungry and uncomfortable all day. When the day came, it was surprisingly easy and actually enjoyable! The variety of juices were satisfying and made the day go by quickly! The spicy pineapple and almond desert drink literally felt like a treat.
The best part was how great a felt after. I had more energy, felt less bloated, and my skin looked better. Since then I have done it multiple times and would recommend it to anyone.

I love illuminate juice! All of the juices are so delicious that even if you’re not an avid juicer, you still will enjoy them! I have a terrible addiction to the nut milk! It’s literally my favorite milk period. Another thing I love about these juices is that they are not ridiculously high in sugar or calories. A lot of juices you can buy in store are sooooo high in calories you wonder really how healthy it is. Give illuminate juice a shot and see just how illuminating you will feel and look after!

I love Illumincate juice! Juices taste fantastic, Rene is absolutely full of knowledge about her products and will rid you of any concern you may have about a juicing experience. It was my very first juicing experience and I have to say, it made me feel amazing. I am a very active person and want my body performing to its max capabilities, so I decided to do the cleanse on one of my off days and I have to say It made my body feel great, like the inside of my body had just taken a shower and rid itself from all the junk food I had been eating.

Recommended by several people to try Illuminate Juice for my first attempt at a one day juice cleanse and I’m so happy I did!
To start, I was absolutely apprehensive of the feeling of starving and acting like a sub level form of a human being due to food deprivation, but I’m happy to report that did not happen (… or at least no one told me).
I liked that they were numbered to make it easy for me to remember the order of juices to drink and felt surprisingly full throughout the whole day of the cleanse.
While I loved every flavor, the pineapple one was amazing and I would happily just purchase that one to use as a mixer with vodka for the future. :)
I know that Illuminate Juice also offers three day cleanses offers order customization, in addition to being very responsive to emails.
So happy to have tried Illuminate juice and will definitely become a repeat customer!
