For Buyers, I listen! I expect a lot of questions and truly enjoy the process. I take the time to share my knowledge of these Coastal neighborhoods in order to help find the home best suited for them. I also help identify any problems or concerns which can arise with each specific home. I truly have fun with what I do and my approach is personal. Yet, providing guidance, negotiating on a Buyer’s behalf, and my commitment to overall excellence is something I take seriously.

For Sellers, I pride myself on my ability to market specifically to the «Coastal» Buyer. I strategically present the highest possible value for my Seller’s property in order to give us a competitive edge in negotiation. I EARN my commissions.

History

Established in 2001.

I started Living West Realty in order to provide a coastal San Diego Real Estate service which is «client focused.» My reputation as a Realtor and Broker grew by word of mouth based upon my focus on giving sound, thoughtful advice to both my Buyers and Sellers. My clients appreciated both my enthusiasm for Real Estate in this coastal area and the lifestyle it provides, while also giving them valuable advice on what pitfalls exist in this niche market. My clients aren’t just clients for today or THIS deal, they are clients for life. My father always told me, «Make your business about the people, and the success will come.» As my expertise with beach homes grew, I broke away on my own and founded Living West Realty. I devoted my marketing to «Ocean front, Ocean View and Ocean Close Homes and condos.» It wasn’t so much by business design, but more out of what inspired me. I am very fortunate and grateful to lend my expertise to those buying and selling coastal San Diego Real Estate.

Guy established himself as a coastal real estate expert in 2001. He has a down to earth and personal approach, yet he takes the opportunity to guide buyers and sellers with their coastal investments seriously. His knowledge of neighborhoods near the beach and coastal-​specific issues has made him the go-​to Realtor for buyers, sellers and even other real estate professionals needing advice on coastal properties. In late 2005, Guy founded Living West Realty in Encinitas. His entire team shares his core values of integrity, professional excellence and a client-​focused business ethic.

When not serving clients, Guy is immersed in the coastal lifestyle; sailing in the San Diego Bay and surfing his home breaks of Cardiff by the Sea.
