I’ve been here a few times and have had multiple types of experiences. Once I was here and they were in a rush so had to do my manicure during the same time as my pedicure, ok fine. But she made me stretch my arm across to the other side which wasn’t cool it was extremely uncomfortable. I come here and pay so I can relax, so please don’t do that shit. However, I was here last week and had Tina. she was there all by herself for the entire day. She is legitimately the sweetest woman ever and gave me a great manicure. mani/pedi was $ 20

Let me set the record straight, anyone who has been here knows this place is CLEAN! The space is open, airy, and their bathroom is spotless. Yes, prices are cheap and they take such good care of you all the way down to the massage at the end of the manicure(my fave). There are a lot of nail shops around the area but this place is definitely the most chic, clean and home-y.

Easily the worst mani pedi I have ever gotten. They don’t take their time and rush you out. No wonder why my manicure looked like a blind woman did it. I will never go back. I rather do my own nails.

Worst manicure and pedicure ever! They don’t take their time, and rush you out. The nail polish must be diluted with nail polish remover, the mani didn’t even last a week. Don’t go!

If you want a cheap pedicure come by on a Saturday or Sunday. $ 20 mani/pedi’s. But that is exactly what you get. A cheap mani/pedi. Pedi’s don’t come out too bad. Mani’s are sloppy(polish on skin around nails. Polish on cuticle area, no third coat when needed.)

I got. the worst infection after going to this place. Or feels dirty and they don’t clean the equipment after each use. I had to go to a podiatrist for treatment and spent a few thousand dollars to get my feet back to a healthy state. I will never go to this place again. The waxing room is very crackpot and dirty also. And the bathroom is more hideous than any gas station’s. There are so many others why risk your health at this place.

*update* went back for 2nd time and had a completely different experience. Felt I was rushed and when I asked how much the pedi is, was told $ 20. I asked why the same price as their combo and the price suddenly came down. New to the area I stopped in on a Monday and was pleasantly surprised. Mani/pedi for $ 20! Nice color choices, friendly staff, clean space, good music and they did a great job. I will definitely be back!

After reading the other two reviews and seeing the $ 35 gel manicure/pedicure special, I was sold. Knowing that they close at 7:30, I called to ask if it would be too late to make an appointment for 6:40 — they told me it would be fine to come in. Tina, the General Manager, asked me to pay first — I tipped 20% out of habit and signed my name on the credit card receipt before even sitting down. Well, the pedicure was completely rushed — I asked the tech to scrub my feet but she just smiled and said«It’s ok, already smooth». Then, without asking what shape I wanted, she over-filed my toenails into tiny squares of different lengths. Very attractive. My gel manicure? It was done with the tech standing, along with the pedicure. The result? Photo speaks for itself. ***And no. I don’t bite my nails. *** They were much longer… normal, really — when I walked into this salon. My nails are now very sore and the nail bed is actually exposed on every finger. I also paid for an eyebrow wax when I walked in – Tina decided to take that job on herself. I had a really great natural shape, which I just asked her to clean up. I now have thin yarn for eyebrows. Was the place clean? Yes. Was Tina nice about the whole fiasco? Yes — she even gave me a card for a free gel manicure next time I’m there. But for some reason, I feel a little apprehensive about ever going back.

This place is extremely clean, has reasonable prices, and do a fantastic job on nails! My cuticles are always trimmed neatly(no overgrowth of hang nails due to overcutting!), and the polish lasts a very long time. Highly recommended!

This place is SUPER clean and a great price. Mani and pedi Mon-Wed for $ 19! I personally think Janet is the best. I’ve tried dozens of different places, and every time I try someplace new out of convenience, I am disappointed and go back to Alamode.
