The JB Ranch offers a wide variety of Horseback Adventures, Old West Reenactments, Environmental Living Programs for Schools, and Professional Motion Picture Services. Your Horseback Adventure can be anything from horseback riding and lessons, wagon trains, and cattle drives. Any of which can be combined to be a City Slicker Adventure customized to your abilities and desires. The ranch will fulfill your «Dream horseback adventure.» We also offer special lessons for gymkhana and barrel racing, cowboy mounted shooting, motion pictures services, stunt riding, and wagon driving. Horses, livestock, buggies, wagons, and coaches are available for any type of function or motion picture work. Family parties, weddings, funerals, company events, or commercial promotions can be highlighted with pony rides or horse drawn wagon and carriage services .The JB Ranch will make every western adventure an experience that will entertain and educate everyone.

History

Established in 1978.

In 1978 Jerry returned to the Sacramento area making the little rural town of Elverta home. It is here that he established the JB Ranch, whose motto is «Offering western adventures in the finest tradition of the Old West».

For over 40 years Jerry has been living the cowboy lifestyle living «Western Adventures in the finest tradition of the Old West.» Jerry has been the «boss wrangler» on many wagon trains and trail rides. He ropes, team penns, has done gymkhanas, barrel racing and finally his dream and passion Cowboy Mounted Shooting. Jerry and his mare Taffy, won the Single Action Shooting Society «Overall World Mounted Shooting Champion» with his mare Jasmine.

For over 40 years Jerry has been living the cowboy lifestyle, Jerry, your host, a professional wrangler, stunt man and world champion cowboy will entertain and teach you about the old west. The stories are endless from his days in rodeo, mounted shooting, gymkhana, motion picture services, and 40 years of wagon train experiences and western adventures. Jerry does and will provide you with the best «Western Adventure in the finest tradition of the Old West. Jerry has been the «boss wrangler» on many wagon trains, trail rides, and motion picture sets. His passion Cowboy Mounted Shooting, Jerry and his mare Taffy, won the Single Action Shooting Society «Overall Mounted Shooting World Championship in 2006. He is not finished, he still follows his passion of Mounted Shooting in-​between wagon trains, wagon rides, horse rides camps, motion pictures, and commericals and he isn’t ready to hang up his spurs just yet.
