I was looking for a florist near the O’Hare area for the rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding. We are from out of town, so I searched Unilocal for ideas. I like to support small local businesses. Anjeli had good reviews and was fairly close to where we were staying and the location of the rehearsal dinner (Gibson’s in Rosemont). When I was in town for the bridal shower I met with Marlen to discuss arrangements for the rehearsal dinner on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. I told her the colors I was thinking of, the general shape and size of arrangements, etc. She caught my vision right away and had some excellent suggestions. We had a nice visit, she showed me photos of some of her other arrangements, we got all the details and a budget worked out. Marlen is so personable and friendly. I felt very comfortable leaving Marlen to take my vision and make it happen, and gave her the freedom to improvise and to make each bouquet a little different from the others. She even called over to Gibson’s the make sure the arrangements were the right size for the tables. When I arrived on the day of the rehearsal dinner to pick up the flowers, I almost cried, they were so beautiful and so much more than I had expected. Marlen came in on her day off just to meet me at the shop to be sure I was happy. Not happy… ecstatic. They were just gorgeous, exactly what I had envisioned, and the guests at the dinner raved about the flowers. They were perfect, reasonably priced, absolutely beautiful. If I lived in the Chicago area I would never use any other florist. Thank you Marlen!

I called this place after finding they were at the top of the «best ratings» list in my local area. I was getting flowers for my wife’s birthday and wanted them delivered on Saturday while I was calling the day before on Friday afternoon. When I first called the «mom» that some people talked about in their reviews answered the phone. Her English was not perfect but all she said is it ok if we call you back at this number (that popped up on their caller ID)? About fifteen minutes to half an hour later I got a call back from a Melanie (I believe) who helped me with my order. I told her my wife loves lilies and how much would an assortment of all your lilies cost. After I heard the price for three different colors of lilies and delivery to our home for around $ 50 – 60 I said I would take it… The price was about the limit I would spend for flowers but somehow I thought it was a good one. After talking to other people about it I realized that it was indeed a steal because apparently lilies are some of the most expensive flowers you can get. Once I got Melanie on the phone I thought the customer service was capable and pleasant and I felt satisfied at the end of the call. My wife is very happy with the arrangement and so am I… I would highly recommend this company if you are in the area.

I received a delivery, a get well bouquet. I opened the paper and much to my surprise the daisy’s were ALL falling off. The other flowers were literally wilted completely over. Most daisy centers were dry & brown. There were even hardened dry stems of old flowers in the arrangement. The arrangement itself was of very cheap, poor quality what looked like leftover flowers. There was no floral design to it, a mish mosh of greens amongst dead wilted flowers. I was appalled and embarrassed for the sender!
The water in which they were in when delivered looked like swamp water. Coffee colored water with stem ends, leaves & debris on the bottom with only about 3 inches of water in it. I called the store 5 mins after delivery. I spoke to a woman with broken English who asked if I would be home for the rest of the day, I said yes. She said they would send over a replacement. 3 days later, a facebook post on their page, an email to the shop and numerous calls to the shop with no answer… no replacement to date. I have been in the shop before only to find the coolers empty and a makeshift nursery w/​gates for the kid & a dog running around.
Very poor business, poor quality of flowers. The quality of their flowers I received reflects the very same quality of their customer service & business.
They have not heard the last from me. I am contacting the sender with my information and photos I took so that they can dispute it directly with them.
BEWARE, GO ELSEWHERE… very bad business!
The flowers up the street at Dominicks are of much better quality, cheaper and last forever!

Had a consultation with Marlen about the flowers and decoration that will be used for my May wedding. I’m clueless about weddings and have no idea what goes into decorating tables, church and the reception area. Marlen and her mom are my mom’s friends and my mom insisted I speak to Marlen. I’m so glad that I did. Marlen is very talented and had so many great ideas. The prices are reasonable and she had so many albums to show me what the tables at the reception would look like (I’m very visual/​I have to see it). I’m excited and can’t wait for this wedding! I’ll keep you posted!

I found Anjeli thru the banquet hall I was hosting my wedding at & then again through my florist… so happy I called! They are very pleasant to work with & after shopping around I felt confident I got a great price-​point & product for my budget. I had them do all my chair covers & table linens decorating plus drapping/​canopy for the banquet hall ceiling for both my shower & wedding.

Anjeli Flowers is a very personable and down to earth Florist that I ordered my Bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres from.
She worked with what I wanted and wasn’t OVERPRICED or PUSHY.
I got an economical, wedding flower package.

She also rents chair covers w/​organza ribbons which I got a phenomenal deal on!

This florist is an example of what business locally is all about. Personalized service, making it right if it’s not, know your name etc. Marlen was great to deal with and made something right that could have been a potentially embarrasing situation.
Highly recommend this shop.

I used Anjeli Flowers because I was an acquaintance of the owner’s family. Marlen and her mom work together in this floral shop and are a great team. Marlen does most of the communication with the clients and I showed her my flower collage of what I wanted and she executed perfectly!!!
I wanted peonies and hydranculas in my bouquet and neither are in season! She called all her wholesalers to get what I wanted and offered to it me AT COST! Honestly, I think she only profited on the bridesmaids and boutinerres! All were wonderfully maid and beautiful!
Also, I did ALOT of research on florists and by using Anjeli I cut my budget by 30%. They were awesome!
