Nails 2000

Coco took me on time for my appt. I had my nails wrapped with powder, a pedicure, and eye lash extensions. I was pleased with all services. I had eyelashes done before and did not like the shadow it cast over my eyes making it hard to see. Coco did a great job. I could see and my lashes were lovely. I used to work in Mt. Vernon and had the best manicures ever. I moved to Croton and had hard time finding someone who knew what they were doing for a reasonable price. Coco is well worth the trip down to Elmsford!!!

Went here hoping for a good experience over the weekend and left with horrible nails.
First off, I use SNS and they had no clue what it was. I told the technician, CoCo, who I guess is also the owner that underneath the SNS I have very brittle nails (thanks to using acrylics for a year or so). While she’s trying to get the SNS off and I keep telling her they just have to be soaked off she try’s to pry them off of my nails. This should have been what made me walk out of the salon. She started actually hurting me by shoving a METRO CARD in between the SNS and my NAIL.
She told me that is how «they remove the acrylics»
I ended up walking out of the salon with an OK color gel manicure… My nail that she tried to shove the metro card between hurts and is actually bruised.
Please, for your own sake, don’t make the mistake that I had made. Find a nail salon that is professional and won’t try and remove your enhancements with metro cards.
Oh, and they also had not heat or water… And we’re still operating.

So many nail salons to pick from– don’t pick this one.
I got a terrible «pedicure» here today. When I got home I noticed some of my old polish is showing through. He didn’t get all the old paint off.
He filed the ends, TOPS and SIDES of my toenails with an emery board. He filed off some of my cuticles during this– maybe to make the next step easier. He filed away even though I flinched and said «Oww!» A few times.
I can paint my own nails so I was really there for the buffing and callous removal. This was NOT accomplished with the 8 second rub of the sponge thingy. Yes, literally 8 – 10 seconds.
He put my sandals back in before paining my toes and proceeds to paint my shoes along with my toenails.
HUGE waste of money. I could’ve done better myself at home.

Favorite nail place. Great prices, very clean, the staff are very friendly and my nails last for over a week. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else

I needed a nail salon that did eyelash extensuins on a Sunday so I found Pretty Nails 2000 via web. The salon was easy to locate and in the heart of the city. When I arrived I was taken right away. I explained to the Tehnician what I wanted and she gave me exactly what I asked for! CoCo did a GREAT job and she now has a repeat customer for eyelash extensions from now on. Thank u ‘Pretty Nails’ for giving me such a wonderful first time experience! :)

The place is clean, the staff is nice, and the service cheap (for Westchester); they do very pretty work just nothing fancy.
