Visited on the December 3rd 2015. There is a for rent sign in the window and the store is cleaned out. Change to CLOSED

Providence, RI
Elmira and surrounding area have loads of junk shops, cruddy flea markets, and «antique» stores. Most of them smell bad and have few good items.
Grannys Attic is the exception. They focus mostly on used books, cd, dvds, and video games (and a huge selection of incense). The store is compact but loaded with great stuff at great prices.
The used book selection used to be better, but is now mostly romance novels, sci-​fi, best sellers, and teen books. But if that is what you are looking for, they have tons at great prices.
They have loads of used video games and video game systems.
Tons of used DVDs. Movies, TV shows, you name it.
Everything is reasonably priced and I have never had a problem with scratched discs.
