This used to be a great Chinese food place I order delivery today and it was pretty bad, I’m totally surprised and very dissatisfied too bad. I ordered fried rice also chichen with garlic sauce totally bland is cheap and they give you a free soda when you spend more that $ 10 that’s the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars. I guess I have to find a new Chinese place.

So I went in before reading the reviews and then my skepticism kicks in. Well, I ordered from the lunch menu. Hot and Sour soup along with chicken and broccoli. Do not see why so many people are giving this take-out place bad reviews. What you people expect? Manhattan 5 star quality? Get real! Its Queens and its take out. Food is ok. Soup was great. Portions and price are propotionately reasonable. But I guess the best time to get food here is as early as possible because thats when you have a better chance of getting good food.

Omg. This place needs a health inspection! Not only does this place looks dirty but just ordered a spring roll and the cashier called to the cook for a spring roll and he walked into the fridge and grab a spring roll with his bare hand without any gloves.

Don’t waste your money on this filthy inconsistent toilet. pathetic food, filthy kitchen. asked for extra sauce on my pork broccoli last night the chef added extra water, yes plenty of water. I mean come on if you’re going home if, its late, just tell the customer. why you gotta ruin someone’s meal for the full price. been ordering from here for a long time but that’s it no more. try Maxim’s kitchen OR East 21.

I order from here everytime I go to my besties house which is pretty often, it’s been at least 10 years. So I got rib tips I saw something funny on it so I was trying to remove it and there it was a ROACH. That is so disgusting and they were apologetic and refunded us the money but that should have never happened in the first place Never will I ever eat there again. Sorry woodside you fucked up tremendously.

Good take-out place. Fast, friendly and efficient. Large size and reasonable price. Their rice is among the best I have had in American Chinese restaurants.

My go to place for chinese delivery. Fast and efficient. The taste is also good compared to the other take out places in the area. I also love that they have chicken nuggets on their menu. Some places do not. However some times i order fried scallops and they serve it with mayo instead of tartar sauce. Im sure its just because they ran out. But thats a no no. At least inform me that i will be getting mayo instead of tartar

This place was one of our go to takeout places, but not after today. We ordered dragon and phoenix and house special chow fun. Once we opened our food, we knew there was something wrong with dragon and phoenix. For Dragon and phoenix the sauces were completely off. Last time, the one with the shrimp was in a thick red sauce, which was replaced by a white sauce(if you can even call it that) and the taste… Let’s just say, we didn’t finish it. I called to verify if they sent the right order in, the girl on the phone immediately started to give excuses, their chef whom she says didn’t change, didn’t put enough ketchup in the sauce. EXCUSEME? this sauce can’t be salvaged with ketchup. Since she kept on repeating that the chef didn’t change and the problem was lack of ketchup, i just hung up and vowed never to order from them again. If you catch the right chef, the place is a solid 4 stars. if not, then i’d give it a 1 star just based on the food.

This is a typical Chinese restaurant, ideal for delivery and for quick eats. They have a pretty extensive menu, and the prices are pretty good. I recommend one of the combination platters, e.g. Chicken and Broccoli. The staff is friendly and the food is prepared quickly. The interior is rather run-down but it’s pleasant enough.

Woodside Kitchen is your typical NYC Chinese take-out spot. It has been around a while and has recently changed hands. Since doing so, the taste and quality have dwindled a bit… but not to the point that I’ll go elsewhere(for now).
