Despite the no frills sign outside, the business cards read«Ricky Liquor.» They even have a website . Ricky is a serious young businessman, running this establishment with his parents who are often in the store helping to keep it spick and span and well organized. Ricky knows has alcoholoic beverages especially Whiskey but not really the Chinese section(for that you have to speak to his Dad). The selection in here could be broader but what is here is well selected for quality and value in both wine and spirits. You have to respect a shrewd business owner for not overstocking and focusing on products that move with his customer base. I haven’t asked for a special order but I bet it could be arranged. If I can’t find something specific, I take Ricky’s reccomendation for a suitable substitute.

Just when you thought Woodside Ave just couldn’t fit anymore liquor stores. This store is a welcomed addition to the«strip.» The staff is very nice and the inventory is. acceptable(with a good selection of staple spirits as well as some fancier items). The prices are comparable(if not lower) than its neighbors and although it still smells«new» inside I foresee good things.
