3.5 stars You can get a decent slice here. Not great, but good enough if you’re craving pizza in the middle of Elmhurst. It’s not as oily as other pizzerias, but then it’s not as cheesy either. You know when there’s so much cheese, you have a difficult time eating it. It’s been around for years and it’s still better than any chain pizzeria, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get a slice here. I’ve never tried anything other than their regular slice. I usually stick with pizzas when it comes to places like these. My uncle gets a pie every now and then for those weekend family gatherings. There’s always some leftover.

Didn’t rate five stars since so far I’ve been there only once and only had one thing off the menu. About two weeks ago, I decided last minute to try this small place when I was walking around the neighborhood with my partner. The nice man who took our orders took his time to make our food. Surprisingly we were not as impatient as we usually are, and I think it’s because we assumed he was the only person running the place for that day. We did not see anyone else. Anyway, in the end the wait was worth it! I ordered a Bacon burger deluxe and my partner ordered Philly cheese steak with bbq wings. My burger was so neat! It was delicious. It tasted refreshing, which I usually don’t think of when I eat a burger. It was simple but flavorful. Loved it. The philly cheese steak tasted very good too. The fries were crispy just how I like it. After we were done eating and we were putting away the tray, we were asked how was the food. This small place is so chill and nice. It’s a great place to get a relaxing meal. It was exciting for us knowing this was a local business we can support and enjoy, that’s why I made a Unilocal account today to rate and review. If you’re in the neighborhood, please give this place a try.

This is my new favorite pizzeria, now that Singa’s has closed down. The owners are very nice and friendly. I’ll be coming here every Wednesday and Sunday.

yummmmm! this is honestly the only place I get pizza from in this neighborhood. I’ve been getting my pizza here for YEARS, so they know me by face and are always so nice and happy to see me. the couple are the friendliest ppl ever. but after all with food it is the taste that matters. I am extremely picky with pizza, I hate when it is too oily and I despise when it just has Soo much tomato sauce that when you take a bite your basically just eating tomato sauce. I HATETHAT. so that Is why I only eat my pizza here it has the perfect amount of tomato sauce and it’s very yummy tomato sauce. and it is just perfect.

I know I said never again, but Johns is closed on Mondays and I was really craving pizza, so I decided to give them a shot. I just walked over to pick up a pie this time to avoid any delivery issues, and it’s nothing to write home about. The pizza is sort of bland and boring, not bad but not good either. It smelt and looked much better than it tasted.

I’ve come here for pizzas, gyros, burgers, and spinach rolls, and I’ve never been disappointed. The prices are a little bit more than what’s on the wall menu but that’s fine. They have a special of 2 slices and soda for $ 4.50. But I don’t really drink soda, so I just buy 2 slices for $ 4 sometimes. The nice Italian couple who owns the place is very sweet. I almost feel like I’m in their home and they’ve showered me with hospitality. I hope to go again soon.

I popped in the other day for a slice. It was great. Not the best pizza I’ve ever eaten, but still excellent. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars!

This is a surprisingly good pizzeria. You wouldn’t think it because it’s in the middle of Elmhurst, and the outside looks like Elmhurst Famous BUT… it’s got its stuff down right. The owner is from Italy and his incredibly nice wife is his number one assistant. The slices are thicker than usual but have a great taste to them. I feel very comfortable in this little shop, and I wish I didn’t forget about it as much as I do. They don’t serve a in-your-face grandmas like Louie does, but it’s a respectable slice nonetheless. Good heroes too.

So as I was visiting my grandmother in this neighborhood, I was in the mood for a slice of pizza. I happened to stumble upon this gem. The pizza here is AMAZING. Although its a small place, it has a big taste. The pizza is perfectly thinned crusted with this great sauce and the PERFECT amount of cheese. This man has it down to a science! Ever since my first experience, I have become a huge fan and no regular it. The people there know me; it seems this place is family owned and the people there are extremely sweet. I love supporting small businesses, espically ones with slices of pizza to die for! PS… try other things on the menu, it seems this place has a great grip on the mastery of food!

When I have to work months at the nearby hospital and I’m away from places that I found tried and true I venture out in the town of Elmhurst. What is Elmhurst? A town filled with plenty of asian cuisine that is to die for! All types of asian and very authentic. Kudos to Elmhurst. Back to my review. Traveling on broadway, I found some of the best pizza new york has to offer! And, trust me, I have been all over new york. Every so often, I come by to visit and I’m greeted by this quiet man who is just business and I order my two slices of wonderful, cheesy pizza with the crust from heaven! Most places these days sell their cheap pizza taken out of the oven too soon and the bottom is soft no where near that crisp delight we all have come to love. I’ve tried their other things like their chicken parm and I loved the chicken with the cheese and sauce… yummm cheese. See a trend? I’ll definitely be back for more.
