History

Established in 2014.

Pitch Forward Music, an authorized Quilter Amplifier dealer, stocks and sells Quilter products online and in Illinois. We ship anywhere in the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii for an additional fee.

The US domestic dealers cannot sell internationally. If you buy from a US dealer and take the amp back to your home country, your warranty will be voided.

Beginning in 2012, Bruce, the owner of Pitch Forward Music, used and performed with Quilter amplifiers after flying to California and seeing a demonstration. To afford his first Quilter MicroPro 200, he sold his vintage silverface Fender Pro Reverb.

Bruce is an experienced six-​string and lap steel guitarist, who has built and modified guitars and tube amps for many years. With regard to tube amps, Bruce realized that even a perfectly tuned amp is generally heavy and fragile and the sound can change depending on the wall voltage at the gig.

Yes, you can buy yet another piece of equipment to maintain the perfect AC voltage, but over time, all the setup and extra attention takes time away from actually playing your instrument.
