Dave is amazing. He always picks up the phone and almost always can come by same day! He will work weekends, has worked around our schedule, and has come back multiple days in a row to solve our AC and heating problems. He’s so good at trying different things and ruling out every possibility, and I appreciate the time and energy he puts in – especially when we lost heat on a –4 degree day or A/​C in the 90-​degree days of summer. He’s definitely saved us on more than one occasion.
Dave is also very communicative as he works, walking us through what he’s doing and what he hypothesizes the issues may be. He is so generous and flexible with his time/​knowledge and is so extremely reasonable on price. I really like Dave, and I think you will too.

Dave is the first and last call I make for any of my heating and cooling needs! He has replaced our a/​c unit and serviced our furnace on different occasions. Dave is polite and patient. His service is top notch and I would recommend him without hesitation.

Wonderful service we called Sunday morning of long weekend and heat wave. He came out within an hour was able to diagnose immediately and repaired the blower. Very knowledgable and honest. We will use My Guy from now on! Excellent man and company.

OKAY I can not say enough about this company. First off it’s the owner himself (in other words… the one who cares) who comes out to the rescues. Our jerk of a dog chewed the wires behind our AC unit. Even though the weather was mediocre hot for mid-​June and I could have survived until their next appointment, once Jim heard I was 9 months pregnant from his super sweet wife that I spoke to on the phone… there was no question he was at our home in 10 minutes to splice and dice some wires. Dependable when needed and more than reasonable in pricing that I offered to pay more… YES I DID! I would say all around honest and just people who care!!! As silly as it sounds, I felt totally comfortable with whatever they needed to do or had to say… as if I had known them for years. THE BEST!!!

Dave called us back within minutes of the call… Super service. He was able to make it out to us the same day we called and was honest and priced fairly for a short visit. We have used other local heating and air and felt they were priced very high. Would highly recommend him over other local services.

Awful service. We had a 9AM appointment, which Dave shows up early for. He calls once and I tell him I am coming down as we heard nothing. He agrees to wait.
For some reason, he takes off! I’m sitting there for twenty minutes calling him and his office (which there is none — just an answering service) Finally he calls back and explains he had someone else to handle down the street with an emergency. Then he proceeds to tell me how it was wrong to make him wait, despite the fact he didn’t at all.
Then after speaking with him, I mentioned I would put this information on Unilocal to help other people avoid companies like his that provide awful service and don’t have the common courtesy to at least wait until the appointment time because they’re in a hurry and he mentioned that he will try to find my own company online and that he would try to leave a negative review for us as well.
What a scumbag! I’m very happy he was not left alone in my house with my wife and child. I can only imagine what it would be like for her to manage this gentleman.

I highly recommend using My Guy Heating and Cooling. I was having furnace issues the past several weeks and received a quote from another service company to replace my zoning system. Dave came out, checked out the furnace and quickly assessed the issue related only to the damper system, which he was able to replace the next day at ¹⁄₃ of the cost of the quote I received from the other company. He is extremely reliable and honest. Do yourself a favor and call him.

Dave did a routine cleaning of my furnace today and he was great about communicating with me about what time he would be there. I won’t go into details, but something unexpected happened while Dave was doing the work and he handled it like a true professional — he was very upfront and honest with me and when it comes to home service, that is gold. I would recommend Dave and would use him again, no question.

Dave came out on the 2^nd coldest day of the year, answered my phone call via answering service in under 10 minutes!!! He was there within 2 hours and that was 2 other jobs and then mine. Good start. Scent of something — ah yes, a furnace motor starting to burn– as he walked through the front door. He confirmed the problem within a few moments by easily removing the motor from my 29 year old furnace. Gave me an honest, flat estimate; he had the part in stock on the truck and within 45 minutes I was back up. Great finish!!! Then he comments it would not have taken him so long but he had to locate which wires connected where since it was so old there were no color coded cables!
I could not have asked for a more efficient, pleasant, professional, honest heating person. Knows his work, gets it done, and charges a fair price. Dave won me over as a client for as long as I remain in the area. Thanks again, Dave, much appreciated!!!

The owner, Dave, is a great guy. I called in on a Friday night, and received a call back within minutes. Thirty minutes later, he showed up and fixed our furnace. Service was top notch, and the price was fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend My Guy Heating & Cooling!

Dave is just awesome. Perfect service, super duper responsive. Listens, takes care of ALL concerns before they can arise.
He’s done work for my Mom and he installed my high efficiency system and its great!
He even stopped over last week when I asked him to help me set up a gas grill. Even though he spent a good deal of time at my place, he refused payment.
I only wish I found him sooner!

UNBELIEVABLE!
Dave is honest, trustworthy, offers superior customer service, and goes the extra mile without robbing you. In this service category, past experiences tell me that’s REALLY rare. My Guy has serviced my A/​C unit twice. In both instances, the A/​C went out on a Sunday night during a heat wave. Dave responded immediately the next morning and showed up the same day on one and on Tuesday on the other (only because of his call volume). Not only did Dave fix the issue but repaired a half-​done repair by a previous party which required significantly more effort. Lastly, my mouth dropped when I saw the bill and how reasonable it was. I’ll never call anyone else for my Heating & Cooling needs. I generally don’t take the time to write reviews but I just had to pass along this experience.

Real solid on professionalism, price and easy of doing business.
AC was not blowing cool air so I knew it was either the interior coil needed a good cleaning or freon needed to be added. Dave showed up 15 mins early and knocked out the smaller job in 45 mins… we then noticed my water heater was leaking… The 18 year old unit was on its way out Dave offered to replace for a competitive price and came back to that job later in the afternoon. Dave strikes me as someone who is honest and reliable. I will use him again.
In additional he installed a new thermostat for me at no charge. I was planning on doing it myself but he was happy to do me a solid for the unexpected cost of the heaterwater.

Seemed like great company. my job was too big for them but didn’t even pull my leg told me flat out I cant do that much. Good customer service too returned phone call within a hour. From reviews seems like great company just not for big jobs

I’m not really sure about how legit these reviews are. I called and his wife couldn’t make an appointment so I waited for a call back. Sent them an e-​mail the next day, which was replied to within minutes. A sorry we’re not taking any new customers in your area. Ummm Maybe 10 miles away? Glad I reached out to them again. Who knows how long I’d be waiting to have my air fixed. NOT impressed.

AN HVAC ISSUE? — CALL MY GUY HEATING & COOLING!!!
I called them. Told them the second unit of my house down. Kids’ rooms were hot. They said they would check the schedule and they’d call me back. Literally, I got off the phone and I had a missed call. The missed call was Dave. I asked if he can make a 3−5PM slot — his response «that should not be a problem. see you at 3:15PM» He fixed it while my wife was home — for most techs— that would mean vulnerable fast cash. According to my wife, Dave investigated and quickly found the issue. He was polite professional, and prompt — not to mention the best characteristic. HONEST!!!
That’s big — My Guy Heating and Cooling— YOU ARE IT, YOU ARE OUR GUY! Support this business. Businesses should replicate this business model. Ask for Dave!

Met Dave today for the first time. Immediately I knew that he was an honest guy. Having things fixed is a lot less stressful when you can trust someone and you know their character. Dave did exceptional work after I got the run around from ARS that my repair would cost me a lot of $$. Dave fixed my ac within minutes for a nominal fee. Highly recommend for all your hvac needs.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I couldn’t find anyone who repairs attic fans. Everyone wanted to install a new one. Dave came out on a Saturday (working around my schedule). He investigated and quickly found cause of issue. He promised to return Monday with parts and a fix. Monday he came back, right on time. My dog is VERY anxious and Dave tried his best to calm him. However, a few minutes into Dave setting up for repair, the dog decided to get sick all over upstairs and extremely close to Dave’s working area. I felt horribly bad, but Dave showed sympathy and expressed his love for animals. One hour later, the fan was fixed and Dave left with a friendly handshake and smile. Will definitely use these folks for any future heating/​cooling repair. Highly recommend to someone who needs a trusting, friendly and fast service repair!

After getting the run around from Four Seasons, I started to look for someone local to clean/​service my furnace.
«My Guy» was polite, professional and prompt with his callback and appointment time. His prices are better than any of the big names and he’s willing to walk you through what he did.
I definitely found my guy and I’ll be calling him in the spring for routine service on my AC.
