I went to see Dr. Powell about reversing my Type II Diabetes. The first visit was informational & for him to see if I would be committed to doing whatever necessary, if I were «accepted» into the program. When I asked about the cost of the program, he replied that it was affordable & not something he would discuss at that time. The 2nd visit required the attendance of a family member in the same household, to ensure they would support me in any lifestyle change if I were «accepted» into the program. The 3rd appointment was to review blood work to determine the course & length of treatment if I were «accepted» into the program. I requested the cost of the program again & was not prepared for the sticker shock I received (five figures), nor did I appreciate the doomsday scenario regarding death/​amputation upon his seeing my sudden loss of interest in the program.
