Breakfast Specials were very well priced for what you get
Today i got the 2 2 2 special. 2 perfectly poached eggs, 2 bacon, w sausage AND Pancakes. Choice of coffee or tea or juice included. $ 7.48 total.
The breakfast specials from 6 to 9 am are exceptional values.
Very clean and nice diner. Friendly staff.
Deduct one star because the waitress did a drop n go. Bumping my phone in hand aside to deposit the plate without letting me know she was there Then Before i could check to see if i had everything i saw the back of her head 5 ft away already.
Assuming thats not normal here so recommending it as a stop if you are in the area.
The coffee was good and so was the meal. Left full.

The Elmer diner is hit or miss. I’ve ate there twice since I moved to the area 10 years ago. The first time service was poor, and the last time about two months ago it was actually good, but my wife last week tried to place a take out order from there after I suggested it and the lady that answered the phone was completely rude and mean. My wife just asked what the soups and specials were and the girl went off on her. Ended up ordering from another diner up the road that night. I don’t think we’ll ever try that place again.

Good food, had chicken soup, steak sandwich, BLT, egg salad etc
stop here every year, certainly recommend as a stop when traveling on rt 40
