History

Established in 2008.

Founded in 2008, Earthlight catered to Ellington and surrounding communities’ residential market selling energy efficient lighting. Competition from the big box stores soon led Earthlight to move into the commercial and industrial energy conservation markets.

Earthlight is now working with a number of utility companies throughout New England in order to get the best benefit for their customers. Earthlight is committed to customer service and stands behind their promise of energy savings and the quality of work.

Meet the Business Owner

Tim S.

Business Owner

As co-​owner of Earthlight, Tim’s daily responsibilities are mostly in project development and new product research. With Tim’s 25+ years experience in lighting and energy efficiency industry his position at the front end of projects is crucial to our success. Tim started back in the 80′s and 90′s when he had numerous electrical contracting companies. In 1997 he sold his company to a large utility and in 1998 moved the family west to Oregon where he continued to work in upper management for a number of national lighting and energy conservation companies. Tim holds over 12 different electrical licences throughout the country.
