They have some of the most unique flavored with real ingredients. Their banana pudding flavor has real bananas and real vanilla wafers. Eskimo kisses is really good with real coconut flakes. Always friendly service.

Very friendly staff and service is fast. When we walked in it was very crowded. The gentlemen behind the counter were very quick to get everyone served and always smiling. Nice ice cream selection which made it hard for my child to pick. She also has a hot dog and it was served on a warm poppy seed bun. There is no soda fountain here which I was disappointed in but nice selection of bottled sodas. There is a candy bar where the kids can fill a basket and its 6.98 a pound. There is also a small toy section with vintage style toys and cute stuffed animals. Definitely stop in for a bite or a treat when your in town.

We’re locals and love to support this lil family owned shop! Yummy ice cream and we’ve always had friendly service. It’s not your .99 cent cone from McDonalds and the price reflects that, though it’s definitely not outrageously expensive. :) AND… wait till you TASTE it! :)

Great ice cream shop right off the square in downtown Ellijay. Tried a few samples and settled on Nana’s Banana Pudding which was heavenly! Give this place a try if you like good ice cream!

The ice cream is good but the 2 star review was given based on the behavior of the lady that served us(I believe she was one of the owners). She was extremely rude to my 6 year old son(who wasn’t misbehaving or anything) and to my wife. While she was scooping my son’s scoop, I paid for our ice cream with the kid at the counter. She snapped at my son, as he was trying to reach for the ice cream she was handing him, for not taking the ice cream fast enough. Two minutes later, as we were walking out, she accused us, in an extremely rude and nasty manner, of not paying for our ice cream. Her attitude and tone was beyond the necessity of the situation. I was able to easily clear up HER mistake, after which she then uttered a half-hearted apology and didn’t seem to really care about her poor treatment of my wife and son. I’m always happy to support local establishments but the attitude of the owner was extremely off-putting and made me want to avoid her shop in the future.

Oh, my goodness. Such delicious ice cream. Reminds me of an old fashioned ice cream parlor. Ooey, gooey yumminess. You must try this place. I had an old standby… mint chocolate chip and something whose name I do not recall. I do, however, know that it was beyond this world… vanilla, chocolate chips, coconut… I know it has a name but it was just supercalifragilisticexpealidocious. Not sure I spelled that right but who cares. Go to MooBears RIGHTNOW… ANDFILLYOURTUMMYWITHICECREAMYGOODNESS. While there, you can pick up some jaw breakers, Mary Janes, tootsie rolls and old fashioned candies. They even have corncob pipes.
