Specialties

We are an Italian American Steakhouse. Specializing in fresh steaks, cut to order, Pasta (angel Hair, spaghetti, penne, fettuccini) Homemade Sauces (Bolognese, marinara, Vodka, Aioli, Alfredo) Mix and match with meatballs, prosciutto, chicken, shrimp, scallops, Artichokes, etc. Scallopini (Veal or Chicken). Wood Fired Brick Oven Pizza, many varieties. Roasted Garlic, Traditional, White, Pesto, Greek, Meat Lovers, Marghuerita, All sauces and dressings are Homemade. All dinners come with a side (bake potato, sweet potato, rice pilaf, steamed vegetables, Sweet and sour red cabbage or fresh cut french fries) salad and Bread. We also have many specialty Salads. Fresh Fish is Haddock, Salmon, Catfish, and one special fish. Fish Fry is available all week. Day Boat Dry Scallops, Lake Smelt, Crab, Shrimp, and Clams are always Fresh. Monday and Tuesdays we have six flavors of Jumbo wings and pizza and $ 2.00 Yuenglings. BBQ Ribs we smoke them in the pizza oven during the day and serve them with Bill’s homemade sauce. Full service bar with specialty cocktails and a nice wine selection. Linen tablecloths and napkins. Homemade desserts and after dinner drinks available. We have a friendly, attentive staff. Reservations are taken on all tables of any size.

History

Established in 1970.

The Birdwalk was purchased as a neighborhood Tavern in 1970. We sat maybe 50 customers, and had four bar stools. since then we have expanded and added as we could and now seat 100 – 150 customers depending on the venue. The chef-​owner Bill Barrett was the only chef for many years. Recently he has semi-​retired, but still does his sauces and dressings. The Birdwalk is locally well known for its signature House dressing with Gorgonzola Cheese. Bills family spaghetti sauce is another favorite. He has always taken pride in Fresh, from scratch, cooked to order. We are located in the country and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding hills and wildlife. Catering and having events in our spacious yard has always been a source of pride and enjoyment. Come visit us in our yard for Memorial Day Clam Bake, and Labor Day Lobster Bake. In 2002 we installed our Pizza Oven, It gives the barroom nice ambience, as well as making the best Pizza.
