History

Established in 2004.

MJ was getting married on Halloween so she went to her friend Laurie (a very talented floral designer) to design her bouquet. When they both had the same idea of chopping the heads off of the flowers a partnership was born! (It was Halloween folks… don’t get too upset).

After selling their designs for many years in other shops, MJ’s husband, Ken, said «Why don’t you turn the garage apartment into a shop?»

Knowing they would need to sell more than wreaths, they started attending markets, buying what appealed to them, things that they loved and would want in their homes eventually branching out to jewelry, scarves, purses and lately dresses, leggings and more. Fun, flattering clothing that’s very affordable!

Reinvented again! After a career in the Defense Industry, moved to the resort town of Ellicottville, owned a B & B, became a skier, married her soulmate, the King of Ellicottville. Spends many happy hours running Tangled Twigs, gardening and hiking with the «doodles» Goldie & Snickers.
