What a hideden gem! And this is hidden in the back of a plaza near T-​Bonz restaurant. Well worth the search, I’ve had a zipper on a boot repaired as well as a strap on my Michael Kors handbag. Excellent work, excellent prices (each around $ 10).
The best part is the charm that comes from a small business and we love chatting with the kind owner who has a lot of heart!

They fix almost anything, things that you probably should have thrown away, but because they were your favourite and most comfortable still want to get more wear out of them. Vance Shoe Repair is an unassuming and hard to find hole-​in-​the-​wall where they make MAGIC happen. After moving to Baltimore and struggling to find a good cobbler, a coworker highly recommended Vance. It was months before I gave them a shot, mainly because it was so far from my house. But I finally dropped off almost 20 pairs of shoes, 2 handbags and a wallet. Several of the items I thought might be lost causes, but when I picked them up, they all looked incredible. She replaced a zipper on a Michael Khors handbag that I love and got mystery stains out of a $ 600 Tory Burch bag that I thought was ruined. The best part? The price! Unbelievably reasonable. To top it all off, she kindly waited a few minutes past closing time when I got stuck in traffic on my way to pick up my things. Took several of her business cards so I can recommend to my friends! Craftsmanship and customer service of this level are hard to find these days. Vance excels at both. You owe it to yourself and your shoes to stop in!
